Introduction Solar Portfolio Business Models Why ACME Gurugram 2022 Transformation in Energy and Transportation Sector 07 October, 2017

Objectives for Gurugram Minimise Traffic Congestion Eliminate Pollution Energy Security Affordable Transportation Create Employment

EVs: A Step Towards Cleaner Environment GREATER SHARE OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN THE INDIAN TRANSPORTATION MIX 2020 2030 CURRENT FOSSIL FUEL BASED TRANSITION : MIX OF HIGHER BS-VI STANDARD FOSSIL FUEL BASED, HYBRID EV AND PURE EV 100 % ELECTRIC VEHICLES ELECTRIC VEHICLES POWERED BY RENEWABLES CAN PROVIDE ZERO EMISSION LEVELS

Business Model Acme Solar plants: Distributed generation Open Access to supply power to charging stations Revenue Generation from the end user Own Fleet of Electric cars and rickshaws, buses Charging / Swapping Stations

Lead Acid vs Lithium-Ion Battery System Parameter Lead Acid Battery ACME s Lithium Battery Battery 48V100AH (12V/ 100AH x 4nos) 48V/80AH * Life Cycle 6 8 Months >=4-5 Years * Charging Time Slow Charge (8-10Hrs) Very Fast (2-2.5Hr) Efficiency Low (<=70%) - i.e. High charging Cost High (>=95%) 25% less charging cost Discharge Rate Low (<=0.1C) High (1C) Operating Temp Range Restricted Temp. (25 to 35 Deg C) -10 to 55Deg C Big (410 x 180 x 235mm x 4 nos) Size Weight High (120Kg approx) Low (36Kg approx) Energy Density <70wh >200wh/kg Periodic Maintenance required (Water top up / Periodic Boost Zero Maintenance Maintenance Charge etc.) Total Cost of Ownership High (battery replacement every 6 months) Low Environment Hazardous Green 80 km with new battery, but reduces to 35 40 after few months 80km/Charge Mileage/ Charge weeks. Total Cost of Ownership High Low *1 Charge / Day. Small (480 X 175 X 355 mm x 1 nos only)

ECOCHARGE Swap-cum-Charging Station ECOCHARGE Swap-cum-Charging Station is a most versatile line of battery exchange station where a charged battery is swapped with a discharge battery. The battery swap charging station has the mechanism to charge battery which is removed from the vehicle. Plug & Play type design Easy to install Swapping of LIB in 2 minutes only Charging provision for 10 nos. of 48V/1.5KwH LIB modules at a time

Proposed Model in 3-Wheeler Segment CURRENT SCENARIO PROPOSED MODEL Poor service network and sub-standard quality 3-Wheeler EV w/o battery at lowest prices Low speeds and limited km range Battery Service Rental + Swapping Agreement Uses lead acid battery : Battery life of 6-8 months No standard disposal Hazardous to environment Reported cases on electricity theft which leads to grid destabilization High operating cost due to slow charging and recurring battery replacement over life Proposed Models: Ownership Model Battery rental Aggregator Model (EV + Battery) rental
