Maine Clean Communities Annual Survey Underway In 2009, alternative fuels, hybrids, idling policies and other petroleum reduction efforts reduced Maine's dependence on gasoline and diesel by over 1.2 million gallons (gasoline gallon equivalent or GGE). These same efforts reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by nearly 9,000 tons. The 2010 Annual Survey is underway. If you know of new alternative fuel stations, businesses switching to alternative fuels, or new petroleum reduction efforts, please share them with us! If your organization has not yet filled out a 2010 survey, it's better late than never! Please click here to download the survey. The information retrieved from these surveys is used to track our progress here in Maine, to ensure that the Maine Clean Communities Coalition continues to receive State and Federal funding, and to gather success stories that we will help publicize, so that organizations at the head of the curve receive the recognition they deserve. Thanks for your participation! 3/5
