- the ultimate window with a unique design Vrogum has developed the ultimate window. The window combines a unique design with a maintenance free exterior and technically some of the most exciting advancements available on the market. Unique design The outside of the svarre window is glass alone and presents a seamless, flat, shiny surface. The edge of the glass is coloured and covers the timber frame on the inside. This smooth glass exterior gives the svarre window a simple and stylish appearance, which has never been achieved in a window or door before. Maintenance Free svarre is the first window on the market with a one hundred percent maintenance free exterior. Glass is a proven material with extreme durability, as we know from ancient excavation glass does not perish. The colour on the edge of the window is also guaranteed, as it is baked into the glass in the toughening process. This way it cannot fade and the window will look as new and stylish in 50 years time. Fulfils the most desired requirements The window already fulfils the high technical requirements of the future. As a result the window will not be obsolete it maintains its value and will in the end pay for itself. 1. Maintenance free The window is constructed with glass on the outside, which covers the internal timber. Why glass? Glass has the advantage compared to other materials that it is: 100 % maintenance free glass does not need any maintenance. 2. Durability Glass is extremely durable, so is the colour on the glass. The colour is painted on the inside of the glass and before the glass is toughened, which means that the colour is burned into the glass. The advantage of glass is therefore: Never fades Glass is extremely durable 6 mm toughened safety glass on the outside. 3. Security The window is constructed with the best burglary proof hardware on the market: Hard stainless steel or aluminium hinges Security multipoint espagnolette locking front and back 6 mm toughened glass outside. 4. Sound proofing The window has excellent proof qualities with up to DB 38 as standard for a better indoor climate because it is fitted with: 2 weather seals 3 layers of glass with different thickness. 5. Insulating 3 layers of glass as standard with following U-values (Ug): Ug values of 0,9 as standard Possible with Ug values down to exceptional 0,5. 6. Wind and water tightness It is an overlapping window construction which makes the window extremely wind and water tight and enables the fitting of: 2 weather seals. Window/French door svarre window/french door Vrogum has developed the ultimate window, which combines a unique design with maintenance free exterior and high technical values. The window is made with triple super low E glass with U-values from Ug-0,5 (standard Ug-0,9) and 6 mm toughened glass outside with 88 mm coloured edge. The outer pane overlaps the underlying timer frame and sash for a maintenance free exterior. Furthermore, the window is made with 2 weather seals for high wind and water tightness and sound insulation. A903 A903 E901 The window is delivered as side hung with hinges and friction brake as well as top guided, all with espagnolette locking and window handles. The hardware is made from stainless steel for high durability and security and live up to the some of the highest safety requirements on the market. This way the door sections take up no space and give an entirely open view. When the sliding door is closed it appears with a plane surface without any level differences between the leading and fixed section. The sliding door is delivered with handles and espagnolettes in both side sashes with a total of 10 locking points which live up to some of the highest safety requirements on the market.
