BATTERY INSTALLATION Use screwdriver to open the controller battery cover Insert 4 x.5v AA noting polarity indicators (not included) 3 Secure controller battery cover with screw FRESH ALKALINE BATTERIES STRONGLY RECOMMENDED CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS CHARGE FROM WALL PLUG F- battery CHARGE FROM YOUR COMPUTER F- battery USB charge Diagram A Diagram B Diagram C Diagram D Circuit board F- battery F- battery Carefully connect the F- battery (red and blue) to the USB charge- (black) (Diagram A). Plug the USB charge- into the A/C adaptor (Diagram B). Plug the AC adaptor into 0V to 0V. Mostly likely a wall plug outlet. Red light on USB charge- tip will turn red as the F- battery is charging (Diagram C). Red light on USB charge- tip will turn off, when F- battery is fully charged. To power on the F-: Carefully connect the F- battery (red and blue) to the circuit board (red and black) (Diagram D). F- circuit board red light will start flashing. Be sure to put away A/C adaptor and charge- for safe keeping. YOU RE NOW READY TO START FLYING! Plug the USB charge- into computer (Diagram B). Red light on USB charge- tip will turn red as the F- battery is charging (Diagram C). Red light on USB charge- tip will turn off, when F- battery is fully charged. To power on the F-: Carefully connect the F- battery. (red and blue) to the circuit board (red and black) (Diagram D). F- circuit board red light will start flashing red. Be sure to put away A/C adaptor and charge- for safe keeping. YOU RE NOW READY TO START FLYING! Charge time: up to 90 minutes Flight time up to 7 minutes. PREPARING REMOTE CONTROL FOR FLIGHT POWER ON SAFETY RELEASE AUTO FREQUENCY SETTING SPEED CONTROL Remote controller will make a beeping sound, until the R/C is synced with the circuit board receiver (servo) () Switch ON / OFF button to ON. () Push left throttle stick up, then down (safety OFF). Low Speed - Tap once High Speed - Tap twice FLYING INSTRUCTIONS HOVER UP AND DOWN Learn how to hover first (fly in place). Once you ve mastered this operation, flying is easy. Once you can hover, try flying F- up and down with the left throttle stick. Move the throttle stick gradually. TURN CLOCKWISE & COUNTER CLOCKWISE While hovering F-, push throttle stick left for left turns or right for right turns. FORWARD REVERSE Push the right control throttle up - the nose of the F- will point downward as the F- flies forward. STRAFE RIGHT Push the right control throttle to the right, to make the F- fly sideways to the right. Pull right control throttle down - the nose of the F- will point upward as the F- flies backward. STRAFE LEFT Push the right control throttle to the left, to make the F- fly sideways to the left. CALIBRATION TRIM CONTROL NOTE: IF THE F- IS TURNING EXCESSIVELY TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT, OR DRIFTING FROM SIDE TO SIDE. ADJUST THE CALIBRATION TRIM CONTROL USING THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. 4 INDOOR ENVIRONMENT FOR FLIGHT. Recommended flying area for indoor/outdoor: 0 L x 0 W x H (6.09 meters L x 6.09 meters W x 3.65 meters H).. Avoid drafts, forced air, water, fans, heat and air conditioning vents. 3. Keep flying F- Jet away from children, pets, the elderly and the disabled. USE GOOD COMMON SENSE WHEN FLYING! OUTDOOR PRE-FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT. Fly in moderate temperatures (50-80 F, 0-7 C).. Recommended outdoor flying area is 0 x 0 (6.09 x 6.09 Meters). 3. Avoid strong winds, which could blow away or damage your unit. 4. Do not fly near people, animals, moving methods of transportantion, homes, buildings, water and structures. Do not fly near overhead s or cables. 5. Keep flying F- away from children, pets, the elderly and the disabled. USE GOOD COMMON SENSE WHEN FLYING! FLIGHT PREPARATION. Connect the red tips s together (located on bottom of F-), this connects the battery to the F- circuit board.. Turn F- switch on (located on bottom of F-). 3. For safety stand back 0 feet (3.04 meters) and turn on R/C. 4. Disengage the safety on remote controller; move left throttle down / up / down. Safety is off. YOU ARE NOW READY TO FLY YOUR F- JET. Since ths is.4ghz Remote Controller, you will hear several beeps when you turn on the F- and R/C. This means that the R/C is acquiring the best signal for maximum performance. Once found (within 5 seconds), you will enjoy true digital performance with fast response times and precise movements. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Keep flying F- away from children, pets, the elderly and the disabled. Do not place stickers, weight, or anything else on the F- Jet. This may cause the unit to crash or malfunction. Avoid flying the unit under low ceilings. Crashing into ceilings may cause damage. To avoid injury, do not touch the blades or any other moving parts. Allow battery to cool down before touching. When not in use (especially for 30 - days or more) remove AA batteries from remote controller. Batteries may leak and cause damage. CAUTION Gently insert the plug into the USB charge -, and never use force. Please observe the F- Li-Ion battery safety precautions. Do not over-charge the battery - doing so may shorten battery life. Do not use or leave the battery near any heat source this may cause battery damage, or even an explosion. If battery is removed from F- for charging, only charge battery on a hard, dry surface. Do not strike, slam, attempt to puncture, or otherwise attempt to damage the battery. Do not submerge the battery in water or any other liquid. Store the F- and battery in a cool, dry place. Do not attempt to disassemble the battery. Use only the included charger for charging the battery. Do not use the included charger to recharge any other battery. Stop flying Continuously aim the R/C at the F-. Unit must receive signal from R/C.
