The stable mineral cast machine bed forms the basis. Compared to the previous machine, the rigid table not only provides a larger clamping area, but it also boasts a higher maximum load. Now the machine can accommodate workpieces weighing up to 4,409.2 lbs. (DMC 1450 V). The DMC V can also step up the speed and, at 1,653.5 ipm., can reach a 40 % higher speed.
