The innovations An original geometric design with an exceptional stability. Missler bandsaws are equipped with Autoregulation as a standard - The box type machine construction consisting of two strongly reinforced pillars and a sturdy machine base assures extreme machine rigidity while providing guarding for the saw head. - The saw head center of gravity is located on the axis of the hydraulic cylinder for precise movement of the saw head. Any interfering load on the sliding components causing instability is detrimental to blade feed regulation and prevented. Missler's area of expertise lies in field of blade feed optimization in which it holds the majority of its patents on three important elements: - The "9000" system adapts the theoretical feed rate speed in relation with the cutting speed. - The "Sensorcut" system adjusts the feed according to the opposing blade force. - The "Torque Control" system limits the feed to the generated pulling force. deb 720 deb 540
accord Missler distinction. Motorization of both blade drive wheels. The CNC-VARICUT optimizes the cutting conditions. This technology enables both band wheels to be motorized, thus doubling the power transmitted to the blade that is driven by friction on two half-peripheries of the wheels instead of one. This technical advantage results in: - An important increase in productivity - Extended blade life - A noticeably reduced noise level, most notably when cutting exotic materials The CNC-VARICUT is a very efficient and user friendly interface for managing: - The automatic optimization, in real time, of the cutting and feed speeds, according to material width (anticipation of the thermal effect). - The programmable sequences consisting of cutoff length and pieces quantities. - The materials library with their corresponding cutting conditions. - The automatic blade break-in program. - The network communication and reports. that have been developed since 1983! 1983 The System 9000 automatically adapts the blade feed speed to the cutting speed selected by means of a single control. Blade driven by standard hollow shaft helical gearbox via frequency controlled drive motor thus preventing excessive side loading of the gearbox by the tensioned blade. 1983 1987 1987 Sensorcut: measures the opposing blade force and automatically adjusts the blade feed according to those forces and the width of material to cut. Torque Control: automatically limits the blade feed in relation to the cutting effort, by instantaneous measure / adjustment to the hydraulic circuit. MISSLER coins the term AUTOREGULATION. The term comprises the three systems for controlling blade feed and managing cutting speed conditions. System 9000, Sensorcut, Torque Control 1995 1997 Jet Cleaner Device used for cleaning blade with jet of coolant that can be used in conjunction with the powered wire brush. Jet Cleaner actively contributes to improved blade life and assists in structural cutting applications when the blade coolant is shut off at the beginning of the cut. New geometric design of the series deb - A high strength machine base stabilizes the entire machine for superior rigidity. - Bundle clamping device incorporates stroke equa to the machine capacity. When the vertical holddown is not in use, unit can be shut off via switch. - Movable control console can be positioned either at the infeed or outfeed side of the machine. - The machine covers are intended to protect the operator from the moving components of the machine while keeping it operator friendly. 1990 1990 Automatic compensation of wire brush wear during machine operation together with automatic machine shutdown when wire brush wears out. Chip conveyor fitted with polyurethane flexible scrapers for preventing breakage and enhancing safety. Discharge height 43.3". 1998 Machine is in total compliance to CE norms. Automatic Trim Cut Operator loads bar stock into machine and initiates automatic cycle. Bar feed positions material until saw head LASER beam detects bar end. Once detected, bar is positioned for first cut automatically. No mechanical stop device required. Missler bandsaws incorporate program that automatically shuts the machine down when the blade is worn out. Function controlled by Autoregulation which senses cutting time increase as proportional to blade wear. (Standard on machines equipped with Compucut or CNC.) Blade wheels are mounted between two ball bearings creating improved blade stability. Design improves life of wheel bearings and blade wheels, Blade tensioning cylinder mounted on centerline of band wheels in both "X" and "Y". Position of cylinder promotes increased stability in saw head and reduced maintenance. 1999 2001 2002 2003 Introduction of Dual Motorization of the blade drive wheels Introduction of new CNC "VARICUT" system that adapts the real time cutting conditions and anticipates the thermal effect due to material width.
