1. Installation 1) Attach the nozzle purchased together with the meter to the outlet. 2) It is recommended to connect a swivel joint (optional purchase: #804553) between the meter and hose. Remove the bushing when a hose outlet is R1/2. <Note> When connecting through new pipes, thoroughly clean them before connecting a hose. Caution Tag: A caution label and a banding band are included in the package. Tie the caution tag around a hose connection using the band. Cut off the excess band with a knife. 2. How to Operate the Machine 1) Supply air to the pump and adjust an air valve or air regulator to start pump operation. 2) The pump will automatically stop when lubricant reaches the meter. <Note> Check each connection for liquid leak without pulling the trigger of the meter. <For grip meter> <For lube batch meter> CAUTION Be sure to turn the knob back to zero before starting operation. NEVER turn it clockwise. CAUTION NEVER turn it clockwise. 3) Insert the nozzle to a filler neck and pull the trigger to start lubrication. Then, the knob starts rotating clockwise indicating the amount dispensed. Release the trigger when the desired amount has been dispensed. <Automatic discharge> The trigger will be locked when pulled all the way and lubricant will continue to flow automatically. Unlock the trigger by pushing the stopper when the desired amount has been dispensed. 3) Turn the knob counterclockwise to the desired value. 4) Insert the nozzle into a filler neck and pull the trigger to start lubrication. Once the trigger is pulled, it is locked and lubricant is discharged. At the same time, the knob starts rotating clockwise to zero. 5) The trigger is released automatically and discharging stops when the desired amount has dispensed. 6) Check the amount of lubricant in the tank using a level gauge. 4) Check the amount of lubricant in the tank using a level gauge. CAUTION - After lubrication, be sure to check the amount of lubricant dispensed in the tank using a level gauge. Insufficient or excessive lubrication can cause an unexpected problem. 1
