Switchboards can be installed in: - wheelhouse (navigation console, wing consoles) - engine control room Consoles are made of profile steel, aluminum or stainless sheets connected using welding in shapes and dimensions according to customer s wish. Apparatus and equipments of control-steering circuits are installed on plates or front door (operating elements, gauges) and inside consoles. All doors have special holders that maintain them in open position. Fields of consoles can be installed as single or sectional. As standard equipment we include storm holders fasten to housing in front side of consoles.

LOW VOLTAGE SWITCHBOARD OF MODULE CONSTRUCTION DESIGNATION Low voltage switchboards of module construction serve as energy distribution devices on board: main switchboards emergency switchboards auxiliary (group) switchboards switchboards for drive systems (refrigeration, ventilation, air condition, etc.) and industry: low voltage switchboards processing automation units Based on module construction system CUBIC. It is very comprehensive system that allows independent, individual selection of electric apparatus to fulfill all customer's requirement. Switchboards can be installed as: - free-standing with service from face or back side - near-wall standing Distribution-control cubicle consists of segments placed on a special frame. Segment is equipped with functional blocks: - protective - starting motors - transformer - supply of shore - supply from generator - generator control Switchboards based on module system can be delivered as: - panel (fixed mounting plates), - plug-in (sliding mounting plates), - draw out. As standard equipment we include storm isolated grips on front and back of switchboards. System is tested according to EN60439-1 and approved by Classification Society (KEMA, ASTA, SABS, UL, DNV, GL).

LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION & CONTROL BOXES INTRODUCTION 1. FAMOR S.A. Marine Equipment Works have been manufacturing the electric equipment, switchboards among others, since 1952. 2. FAMOR - made switchboards are durable, solid and reliable, thanks to high quality materials, apparatus and careful execution. 3. They are equipped with apparatus made by renown Polish and foreign companies (ABB, MOELLER, SCHNEIDER, SIE- MENS, etc.). 4. On request it is possible to deliver switchboards equipped with special apparatus and of a special construction. 5. Ship switchboards are in accordance with International Standards and Rules of Classification Societies. CONSTRUCTION Switchboards have vibration and shock resistant bodies. Full assortment of mounting structures enables optimum fixing of electric apparatus, equipment and conductors. Housings are made of steel sheet ( on request the switchboards in the shape of boxes can be made of certified polycarbonate). Housings may have various types of lock dependent on protection degree and customer's wishes. There are lock with the removable triangular key, screw-type locks, butterfly nuts, lever-type locks, padlocks. Switchboards are equipped with a blocking element keeping the door open during service or operating works. RUST PROTECTION, COLOURING Switchboards are protected against corrosion dependently on design structures, corrosion danger and customer's wishes. Housings, big mounting boards made of steel sheet are painted by powder paint. Smaller boards, mounting elements and screw articles are covered with galvanic coats of zinc or chromium-nickel. Thickness, number of layers and covering technique are according to marine environment. We use the full RAL colour palette with mat, half-mat or polish finish. CABLES LEADING IN Supplying, outgoing and control cables are led into switchboards from bottom, on request from top or sides. Removable cable covers, cable holders or paricular glands are in use. Type of the cable input/output is specified in the catalogue. It may be changed on request. GUARANTY, SERVICE, SPARE PARTS FAMOR attaches importance to quality and reliable of its switchboards. All of them are tested before dispatch. Periodicly full tests are carried out. It has place in our own Factory Laboratory which is approved by the Polish Register of Shipping and the Measures and Quality Bureau. FAMOR gives a guaranty for a period of 12 months, but no longer than 24 months from the date of delivery. FAMOR warrants a comprehensive assortment of spare parts. For all switchboards, which have not their own spare parts, FAMOR offers a spares set per object which meets classification rules and client's requirements.
