I regret that it will not be possible to provide you with all of the information you have requested on this occasion. The Council believes that the information in relation to the name of the lease car holder should be exempt from disclosure under section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act. Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act contains provisions to protect the privacy of living individuals where a request would require the release of their personal data. I am, however, able to attach two tables: table 1 details the vehicle make and model of each vehicle leased out by the Council for which the Council makes a contribution. We have included the employee job title but only where the employee job title does not equal a person; table 2 details the employee job titles which have been removed from table 1; The lease car scheme was closed to new applications with effect from the 31st July 2011. No further council contributions will be made to employee lease costs once each of the current lease contracts expires, so delivering ongoing cash savings. This information has been provided in response to a Freedom of Information request. You must acknowledge this fact in any subsequent use you make of the information. In addition you must undertake not to misrepresent either the source of the information nor infer any business or trading connection with the Council in the course of any subsequent use you make.
