Rate No. 2019-18 Small Commercial General Service Available to any commercial, industrial, or institutional customer, including non profit entities, for combined lighting and power service provided through one meter. Service is available to commercial customers within the City of Princeton and applicable adjacent rural areas. Customer Charge $20.00 per month For all kwh per month $0.1295 The customer charge is the minimum charge. The energy charge is in addition to the customer charge. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1) A demand meter shall be installed when a customer s monthly kwh use exceeds 7,500 kwh for 2 consecutive months. 2) If a demand meter is installed, a customer will remain on the Small General Service Rate schedule as long as the customer s maximum demand is less than 25 kw. When a customer s maximum demand is 25 kw or greater for 5 consecutive months the customer will be placed on the Large General Service Rate. 3) The rate shown above is subject to MN state sales tax and Mille Lacs County or Sherburne County tax if applicable. 2
Rate No. 2019-19 Commercial / Industrial Large General Service Rate Available to any commercial, industrial, or institutional customers, including non profit entities, as single business establishments for all power and lighting requirements, when all service hereunder is provided through one set of meters at a single point of delivery. Service is available to commercial customers within the City of Princeton and applicable adjacent rural areas. Applicability: To commercial, industrial, or institutional customers for combined power and lighting purposes. Service will be rendered at the utility system standard secondary voltage, single or three phase, or at primary voltage designated by the utility system as the service voltage available in the area for the size of the load to be served. This rate shall be applied to loads in excess of 25 kilowatts (kw) but less than 1,000 kw. Demand Charge For all kw per month $15.35 per kw For all kwh per month $0.07 The demand charge for 25 kw plus the energy charge for all kwh used. 1) Additional transformers not located at the point of delivery and special voltage transformers for lighting and other purposes shall be owned and maintained by the customer. 2) A customer with a maximum demand of less than 25 kw for 12 consecutive months will be placed on the Small General Service Rate schedule.
