CYLINDRICAL CASED AXIAL FLOW FANS COMPACT Series TCBB-TCBT (Aluminium impellers) and TCFB-TCFT (Plastic impellers) NEW VERSIONS Description The S&P Cylindrical Cased Axial Fans feature, as the name suggests, an extremely compact design created by the combination of an internal rotor motor with factory matched direct drive wrap around impeller hub. This very low profile design optimises airflow performance whilst minimising noise generation. The Compact Cased Axial Fan series require an absolute minimum of space for any given duct mounted installation. Designed to be installed in-line within a ducted ventilation system; the Compact Cased Axial Fan series are suitable for use within a wide range of residential, coercial and industrial ducted ventilation applications. Construction All COMPACT Cased Axial Fans feature cylindrical flanged casings (ISO 1940) manufactured from high grade rolled galvanised steel. The motor and fan impeller are supported within this casing by a strong electrowelded steel support frame. This whole assembly is protected by a two stage cataforesis primer and tough black polyester paint finish. This particular coating has been evaluated as being suitable for Outdoor Equipment usage, by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc (USA). All models are supplied with a pre-wired wiring junction box located on the outside of the fan casing (models 250 /6-710) or on the motor (models /4-710 800) for easy wiring access. This wiring junction box protects all wiring connections against the ingress of dust and moisture. IP65 Rated*. All standard Compact Cased Axial Fans are Supply voltages and frequencies Applications The Compact Cased Axial Fans have been specifically designed for installation within ducted ventilation systems where the fan is supported on both sides. The robust construction features enable the Compact Cased Axial Fans to be used for a wide variety of ducted ventilation applications, including: General ventilation of coercial and industrial premises. Warehouse and storage ventilation. Garages and public buildings. Special Ventilation Applications Smoke Extract. See Special Versions. supplied in Form (B) configuration. Airflow over Impeller- Motor. Motors All Compact Cased Axial fans incorporate asynchronous induction motors with a squirrel cage rotor. All motors are manufactured in accordance with UNE-113 and CEI-34-1 standards. The motor casings are constructed from die cast aluminium with integrated cooling fins and finished with a tough (black) weatherproof polyester paint. As standard, the Compact Cased Axial fans incorporate the following motor specifications: IP65 (IP55 for models 2-315, 2-355, 800 and 1000). Class F Insulation (-40ºC to +70ºC working temperatures). Suitable for usage in environments up to 95% RH. The range The Compact Cased Axial fan is available in ten (10) standard nominal diameters from 250 to 800, and depending upon the model are fitted with single and three phase motors in 2, 4, 6 & 8 pole. Air volume performance ranges from 1,150 to 43,200 m 3 /hr. Before installation, it is important to check that the product electrical characteristics listed on the data plate label (voltage, power, frequency etc), match those of the intended electrical supply. IP 65* * IP55: Models 2-315, 2-355, 800 and 1000. Speed Controllable (except 2 pole models, /4-560/H, /4-630, 710 & 800 and special Certified models using Increased Safety EExeIIT3/5 Motors). Three Phase models can be supplied to special order for use with frequency inverters speed controllers. Please enquire. PG-11 conduit connection to wiring junction box. Thermal protection. Motors can be supplied suitable for the following electrical supplies: Single Phase 230V 50 Hz Three Phase 230/400V 50 Hz Three Phase 400V 50Hz.
