What colour will the LED street lights cast? SunPro Energies has chosen to use LED in all our lights due to its increased energy efficiency, longer life, and expected decrease in maintenance. LED street lights cast a whiter light, allowing objects to reflect their natural colour and increasing reaction time to moving objects in crosswalks and intersections. Comparative Kelvin Colour Temperature Chart Different types of light can cast a variety of colours as determined by its colour temperature (measured in Kelvins, K) The chart on the right shows the variety of colour temperatures provided by different types of lighting.
