07897530EN-C0.book Page 24 Jeudi, 15. mai 2008 11:34 11 Before the first operation A general check only takes a few minutes and eliminates all risk of incorrect action due to a mistake or carelessness. It is recommended: b for the first operation b after equipment has been energised for a long time All checks should be conducted on a de-energised device assembly. Status of the connections and auxiliaries assembly Check the assembly and the tightening of power connections. Check that auxiliaries and accessories are correctly installed: b electrical auxiliaries b terminals b auxiliary circuit connections. Operation Check the operation of: b contact opening b contact closing. In addition the truck is equipped with a device that allows circuit breaker racking in to be interlocked with the cubicle door: - It is only possible to rack in the circuit breaker if the door is closed. - The door can only be opened with the circuit breaker racked out. DE31541 If this interlocking function is not required, it must be inhibited by the mean of a pin. Lateral version: Remove lifting ring as describe on page 7. 24
