To ensure correct function and safety, please read and follow all instructions carefully before using the product. Please keep instructions for future reference. This DIMMER controller provides the required dim level for 110V, 220V & 240V AC lighting systems. Designed for ultimate flexibility, they allow users to easily add their own personal touch to illumination settings. Its control mode is via a 0-10V/10-0V or 1-10V so you can adjust light to the exact level of brightness you need. The product uses advanced trailing edge dimming technology to provide full control of dimmable LEDs, incandescent lighting, electronic transformer based low voltage lighting, halogen lights & heating elements as well. Technical Requirements for Control Equipment 1. The light output of the LEDs operated by the dimmable driver is controlled via DC voltage or current applied to the control input terminal (0-10V). For external input (1-10V) mean 10V Dc (jumpers A & B On) is activated for external manual dimming 1-10 Dimmer Potentiometer. 2. The driver is intended for use with control voltages between 0 (zero) and 10 (ten) VDC or custom settings (0-5V) for BUS system. The control equipment must not impose a voltage greater than 25 volt peak maximum on the driver control terminals. 3. The two control types are current source (a theatrical dimming standard) and current sink (a dimming ballast standard). 4. There is an IEC standard for current sink controls - Standard 60929 Annex E. The standard requires that the ballast (or driver) provides full light output when the control voltage is 10 V- (or above). As the control voltage is reduced by the control, the light level is reduced. At a control voltage of 1 V-, the ballast (driver) provides its minimum light level. 5. Annex E requires the ballast (driver) to limit the current draw to 20.0 ma maximum. 6. Current sourcing controls for 0-10 V- are supported by the standard ESTA E1.3, Entertainment Technology Lighting 7. Control System 0-10 V- Analog Control Protocol. It defines 10 V- as 100% light level and 0 V- as off first option & second 10V- as 0% light & 0V- as 100%. Drivers using this protocol require the control to provide (source) the voltage 8. Minimum & maximum brightness settings. The minimum & maximum brightness level has been factory preset to suit most applications. * If you need change this please contact JBE for information. Flicker-free design: Immune to flickering due to Ripple Signal injection on mains supply (as used for off-peak hot water switching) Common Information: Delay + Soft Start: Dimmer incorporates a delay + soft start feature providing a noticeably smooth lamp illumination at turn on. This feature also minimises lamp filament start up stress, which may increase lamp life. Thermal Overload Compensation: Automatically reduces lamp brightness should the dimmer be inadvertently overloaded of overheated Resets automatically once overload conditions are corrected or dimmer cools down. Fuse Cut-Out: The unit contains fast two type fuses designed to blow or open in case of catastrophic circuit failure. This is a secondary protection measure intended to operate as a backup in case of persistent or prolonged overload conditions. If the fuse cut-out (fuse open), need to be replaced. Any significant overload should be avoided in order to prevent damage to the Dimmer.
