The committee is chaired by Prof. Jon King, Tata Steel. The ACS meets four times a year to discuss relevant issues and recent developments affecting the UK supply chain. The majority of ACS meetings are hosted by member companies based in the West Midlands. The SCG provides a regular forum for information dissemination, discussion and networking. The aim of the group is to create a forum between the OEMs and major Tier 1s to help create a stronger UK automotive sector.
