Usage One emergeny unit for all LED light modules; ompatible with all LED ontrol gear EM onverterled is designed for use in emergeny luminaries in onjuntion with LED modules and LED ontrol gear from Tridoni and any other manufaturer. It is ompatible with LED modules for linear / area as well as downlight appliations and an be used with normal fixed output or dimming LED ontrol gear of up to 80 W power. The produt range is designed in a very small 30 x 21 x 179 mm housing, making it ideal for ompat LED luminaires where spae is at a premium. EM onverterled an be used with nikel admium (NiCd) or the smaller and more environmentally friendly nikel metalhydride (NiMH) batteries. Versions are available for 3 hours and 1 hour emergeny duration. The forward voltage range of 10 V to 200 V makes it ideal for use with most LED modules from Tridoni and other manufaturers.... Emergeny Operation Emergeny Operation When the mains supply fails, the EM onverter LED unit will swith the LED module from the normal LED ontrol gear supply to the emergeny ontrol gear supplied from batteries. This is done using 3-pole tehnology to ensure total isolation and ompatibility between the LED mains ontrol gear, emergeny ontrol gear and supply system and to ensure that the best possible EMC performane is ahieved. Produt range Produt range The EM onverterled range offers 1.5 W to 5 W emergeny output power overed by a small range of produts. An EM onverterled with e.g. 3 W output power operates the onneted LED module with the rated output power of the EM onverterled. For this reason the ontrol gear is deteting the onneted LED forward voltage and adjusts the LED forward urrent to the orresponding value resulting in 3 W output power. Different battery ell numbers offer flexibility in the available emergeny output power - 3 ells and 4 ells for SELV rated LED modules from 10 V to 50 V forward voltage and 4 ells or 5 ells for LED modules from 50 V to 200 V. The LED urrent in emergeny mode is automatially adjusted by the EM onverterled ontrol gear based on the total forward voltage of the LED modules onneted and the assoiated battery. The produt range offers 2 different types overing forward voltages between 10 V to 200 V. The total forward voltage must be within the forward voltage range of the EM onverterled ontrol gear. When alulating the total forward voltage of all LED modules, series and parallel iruits must be handled differently: Series iruit Parallel iruit The values of the individual LED modules are summed up.
