Select Work Mode There are four work mode options for each system (pic 5), function for each mode as below: General mode: normally customer will use this mode. Solar generation will firstly support the load, secondly it will charge the battery, rest power export to the grid, battery charge/discharge time set as default 00:00-00:00, battery will charge or discharge automatically based on the system operation condition. Off-grid mode: used or off-grid operation(does not connect to grid). if chose this mode, the system will automatically cut off grid connection even though you grid is available. Back-up mode: Battery only discharge for urgent use to support back-up loads when grid is unavailable. Battery charge time set as 00:00-23:55 Economical mode: used when customer want special charge/discharge time. Set charge/discharge time as customer need, details as below: If you chose Economical Mode, it will show options for charge/discharge management (pic 6) After set the charge/discharge time and power limit, click Set to save the parameters. Pic 5 Charge Manage: Set a time range and percentage of rated power for battery charge. Charge time: during charge time, battery will not discharge unless grid is unavailable. Charge Power Limit: max battery charge power from grid (percentage of nominal power of the hybrid inverter) Eg. power limit set as 50%, then max charge power from grid will be 50%*3600W=1800W Discharge Manage: Set a time range and percentage of rated power for battery discharge. Discharge time: during discharge time, battery will always discharge unless grid is unavailable or SOC is low. Discharge Power Limit: max battery discharge power to grid (percentage of nominal power of the hybrid inverter) Eg. power limit set as 50%, then max discharge power to grid will be 50%*3600W=1800W Pic 6
Chose Battery Type After set work mode, click Next to select battery type (pic 7) Click Set to chose battery type (pic 8) If your battery type is in the list, after chose it, then do not have to set Basic settings 1. Please select the right battery type in the list what you use in your system. 2. Factory Battry * 1 means Lithium Battery with 50Ah Factory Battry * 2 means Lithium Battery with 100Ah 3. If your battery is not in the list, please select Default and click next to set details of battery parameters. Pic 8 Pic 7 Battery Basic Settings If your battery type is not in the list, then when you chose default for battery type, click Next there will be a page for setting battery parameters (Pic 9) Battery Capacity:Capacity should be the same as your battery capacity connected on this hybrid inverter; Charge Voltage: 50-60V, it means battery will stop charge when battery voltage reaches the charge voltage you set. Charge Current: the max current of battery charge. The real charge current is also limited by battery capacity (0.25C) Pic 9-1
Discharge Voltage:(for hybrid firmware V1.06 or higher, this function is not editable) means battery will stop discharge when voltage of battery (bank) reaches discharge voltage point set on EzManage APP. Suggest 40-42V Discharge Current: (0-120A editable, suggest 100A) means max current of battery discharge. The real discharge current is also limited by battery capacity (0.25C) Pic 9-2 Discharge Depth: (suggest 60-70%) Namely DOD (depth of Discharge) means the max percentage of battery power capacity allowed to discharge. (for hybrid firmware V1.06 or higher, this function only effective when turn on SOC protect) Eg. if set Discharge Depth 70%, then battery can discharge till SOC reaches 30%. SOC Protect: the option is only for hybrid with firmware version V1.06 or higher. Battery stops discharge according to the discharge depth set below. Eg. Discharge depth as 60%, then battery stop discharge when SOC reaches 40%. Float Charge Management: Only optional for hybrid inverter firmware V1.05 or higher. And please follow the parameters of your battery to set float charge options. Float Charge Voltage: suggest 3V lower than charge voltage; Float Charge Current: suggest 5-8A; Float Charge Time: suggest 15-20 Min Equalization Voltage/Time: the option is only for hybrid with firmware version V1.06 or higher. Means battery will get fully charged (till battery voltage reaches Equalization voltage or SOC is 100%) every Equalization time; Eg. equalization voltage 58V, equalization time 30 days, then battery will get continuous charge every 30 days, till battery SOC 100% of battery voltage 58V. Pic 9-3 After chose the parameters on for Charge/Discharge management, Click Set to save the parameters you set. After finish Basic Settings, Click Start ; Click Yes (Pic 9-4) to put the settings into function. Then click Advanced Settings to next. (Pic 10) Pic 9-4
Advanced Settings Export Power Limit: only useful when EzMeter connected well in the system. Export Power Limit ON, then you can set Power Limit (W), which means the max power allowed to feed into grid. Shadow Scan: suggest OFF if your panels not heavily shadowed Shadow Scan ON, means the system will take one minute to track the MPP point once an hour, during the minute, PV will not produce. Back-up Supply: used for backup load (connect Loads on backup side). Under ON-grid mode, backup supply should be ON if you want backup side have power supply; Under Off-grid mode, need open Back-up Supply and Off-grid Output Switch if you want backup side have power supply; Battery Activation: Only for hybrid with firmware V1.06 or higher. if battery shuts down because of low-voltage protection, this function is used to activate battery to get charge again (Only apply to Lithium battery with switch, which can switch on automatically for now as we know only pylon battery switch can turn on automatically) There will be a 50-60V voltage on battery side of hybrid when you open this function, so please be careful with this. Pic 10 After set these settings in Advanced Settings click the headline to go back to the previous page. And click Yes on the pop-up options(pic 11) to save the settings. (After click Yes the hybrid inverter will restart to make sure all the settings are put into function) Pic 11
