General Information Situation Manor Farm is situated on the Alford side of the village of Maltby Le Marsh with access off a sharp corner on the A1104. Maltby le Marsh is 4 miles from Alford, 12 miles from Louth, 29 miles from Boston and 39 miles from Lincoln. The postcode only takes you close to the site so please follow the To the Sale signs that will be erected on the Sale Day. Car Parking An area for car parking is provided (weather permitting), please follow the signs. At all times park clear of the public highway. Registration for Buyer s Number - All intending bidders must register with the auctioneers prior to placing a bid and obtain a "Buyer's Number". New buyers must bring proof of identity. Methods of Payment Payment for all lots purchased including buyer's premium and VAT must be made by the purchaser in full on the day of sale. Conditions of Sale Bidding - At the fall of the hammer the highest bidder shall be the purchaser but if a dispute arises as to the identity of the highest bidder the auctioneers will confirm the identity of the highest bidder or the lot will be put up again and resold. No person will be allowed to retract their bid once accepted by the auctioneers but the auctioneers reserves the right to refuse the bid from any person without giving reason. Reserve Prices - The majority of the lots are unreserved and will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneers reserve the right to use their own discretion, acting in the interest of the vendor, for any lot to bid on behalf of the vendor and even withdraw a lot if the auctioneers so decide. Disputes - In the event of a dispute the matter will be referred to the auctioneers whose decision will be final and binding upon all parties.
