Demo rides are strongly encouraged when selecting features for your new Infinity DYO saddle. Select the seat first. Please see Smith-Worthington s saddle fitting guide Part A - fitting saddle to rider for further details. When selecting a seat, ride a few (or more) demo saddles. They will vary in: Depth Shape Padding Twist width Working Center Type of Leather/color At this step, try to ignore the flaps and concentrate on the seat only. Determine which seat fits you, then decide on type of leather, amount of padding, flaps, billets, leg support, color, and dees (if any). To help you select which demo saddles to try, visit our website www.smithworthington.com for complete descriptions of saddles. Click on catalog icon and scroll down to saddles. Ordering a DYO custom saddle is intended to be done in conjunction with Smith-Worthington s saddle fitting guides - both Part A and Part B. Please ask your DYO dealer for these or download them from the Smith-Worthington website. Authorized Smith-Worthington DYO certified dealer Your Local Saddle Shop 1234 Main St. Anytown, U.S.A. For example: The same amount and quality of padding will make a softer seat if covered with buffalo calf leather than it would if covered with pigskin. Working Center is the place where your seatbones naturally rest in the saddle. It can be found by placing a small cylinder such as a pencil across the seat after the saddle is properly balanced and allowing it to roll to the place where it stops naturally. This is the working center. Your pelvic structure and your style of riding determine ideal placement and length.
