Details of RIDDOR 'SPECIFIED' Injuries: JULY 2017 ABOUT THE INCIDENT: ABOUT THE KIND OF INCIDENT: ABOUT THE INJURED PERSON: DATE TIME LOCATION KIND OF ACCIDENT MAIN FACTOR INVOLVED AGE SEX JOB TITLE INJURY TYPE BODY PART 31 Jul 2017 Depot Fall from height Being caught or carried away by M Fork Lift Truck Driver Other known injuries Several locations something (or by momentum) IP had asked the 3rd party the curtain side lorry to park in the correct place ready for loading. The driver had opened his curtains and placed one ratchet strap in position. The IP noticed that the ratchet strap was in the wrong position and using the rear vehicle steps he accessed the trailer bed and went to show the driver how he wanted the ratchet strap to be placed. In the process of IP getting ready to throw the strap onto the roof of the trailer he fell from the trailer bed to the floor. The fork lift truck driver should never have accessed the vehicle bed it was outside his job role and he was helping the driver with his job.
