Only in cmbinatin with a detecting and triggering cmpnent in accrdance with the standard (tw separate cmpnents als pssible), which must be subjected t an wn type-examinatin, can the system created fulfil the requirements fr a prtectin device. 2.2 The installer f a lift must create an examinatin instructin t fulfil the verall cncept, add it t the lift dcumentatin and prvide any necessary tls r measuring devices, which allw a safe examinatin (e. g. with clsed shaft drs). EU-BD 758 f 2016-04-01 2.3 The triggering f the braking device is nt caused psitive mechanically but electrically resp. electrmagnetically by interruptin f the energy supply t the magnetic cin f the braking device. Hwever, the mechanically engagement f the braking device has t be abslutely guaranteed after the electrical safety device has respnded. In light f the abve, the braking device must be made t engage at regular intervals e. g. nce daily, s that the anchr plates can be checked fr crrect clsing (e.g. micr switches resp. prximity switch). If the anchr plates d nt perfrm crrectly (anchrs fail t clse) the lift must be kept at standstill. 2.4 Apprpriate measures must ensure that it is evident in the machine rm whether the braking device has respnded in line with its intended use as a safety cmpnent (fllwing failure f an item f perating equipment such as breakage f a gearing element r shaft) r whether the respnse was caused by ther reasns (e. g. lss f pwer supply). It must als have t be prvided a instructin sheet hw t prceed in emergency peratin (mving the car thrugh manual peratin r return mtin cntrl) after the braking device has respnded. Once the braking device has respnded in the intended way as a safety cmpnent, it shuld never be pssible t mve the lift machine via the return mtin cntrl. 2.5 The manufacturer f the drive unit must prvide calculatin evidence that the cnnectin tractin sheave shaft brake disc and the shaft itself is sufficiently safe, if the brake disc is nt a direct cmpnent f the tractin sheave (e. g. casted n). The shaft itself has t be statically supprted in tw pints. An evidence must be enclsed with the technical dcumentatin f the lift. 2.6 The setting f the brake frce has t be secured against unauthrized adjustment (e. g. sealing lacquer). 2.7 The identificatin drawing mentined belw shall be included t the EU type-examinatin certificate fr the identificatin and infrmatin f the general cnstructin and peratin and distinctness f the apprved type: N. f the identificatin drawing Date f stamp 1 12 106839 2005-10-18 2.8 The EU type-examinatin certificate may nly be used in cmbinatin with the crrespnding annex and enclsure (List f authrized manufacturer f the serial prductin). The enclsure will be updated immediately after any change by the certificatin hlder. 3 Remarks 3.1 The scpe f this type-examiniatin certificate ends by attaching the brake frce t the tie-bar. The tie-bar itself as well as the further cnstructin fr the attachment t the driving engine has nt been included in this type-examinatin certificate. In rder t ensure safe functining f the braking device, the brake frces must be safely ruted and remved via this cnnectin. The verificatin by calculatin f the stress f this cnnectin must be included in the technical dcumentatin f the lift. 3.2 Checking whether the requirements as per sectin 5.9.2.2 f EN 81-20:2014 (D) have been cmplied with is nt part f this type examinatin. 3.3 Other requirements f the standard, such as reductin f brake mment respectively brake frce due t wear r peratinal caused changes f tractin are nt part f this type examinatin. 3.4 This EU type-examinatin certificate was issued accrding t the fllwing standards: EN 81-1:1998 + A3:2009 (D), Annex F.7 and F.8 EN 81-20:2014 (D), part 5.6.6.11, 5.6.7.13 EN 81-50:2014 (D), part 5.7 and 5.8 3.5 A revisin f this EU type-examinatin certificate is inevitable in case f changes r additins f the abve mentined standards r f changes f state f the art.
