For suspended fixtures, a thin clear, acrylic lens optimized for indirect LED performance delivers 95% transmittance. EASE OF INSTALLATION Shipped as an assembled unit with the diffuser in place, the fixture is easily installed on site, including a unique twist and lock mechanism to secure the surface mounted version. ATL TECHNICAL DATA DIMENSIONS 20, 32, and 48 diameter surface and suspension fixtures maintain a 2.25 profile height and 3.75 overall height including back wireway compartment. The 20 tbar fixture features a pan that fits into a 2x2 tbar opening with a 0.25 drop from the ceiling surface. The overall tbar fixture height is 4.675. OPTICS A 0.177 thick concaved thermoformed diffuser made up of a high performance acrylic blend hides LED hot spots while providing equal and seamless diffusion. Suspended: A thin clear, acrylic lens optimized for indirect LED performance delivers 95% transmittance. LED LIGHT SOURCE Custom manufactured linear board array uses high performance Nichia LED in combination with a performance driven heat sink technology. Tested in accordance with LM-79 and LM-80; L70>60,0000hr; operated at reduced output for high efficacy and lumen maintenance. 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K with 80+ CRI standard; other color temperatures and 90+ CRI available upon request, contact factory. LED color variation maintained at a 3-step MacAdam ellipse (SDCM 3x). Refer to photometry for delivered lumens. LED DIMMING DRIVER Factory tuned constant current electronic 0-10V control dimming driver is standard. Specification grade dimming down to 5%. Driver life of 50,000 hrs with ambient operating temperature range of -30 C to 50 C, maximum case temperature of 75 C. Electrical specifications at maximum driver load: PF >0.9, THD <20%, >85% Efficiency. Other available drivers include Lutron Eco-system H-series (LDE1): Hi-lume 1% LED dimming driver with Soft On, Fade to Black; and DMX and DALI protocol drivers. Other Lutron and specialty drivers available, contact factory. EMERGENCY Factory installed integrated fixture LED emergency battery pack for both normal and emergency operation, with the exception of the 20 fixture which must have a remote emergency battery. Unit contains long-life Ni- Cad recyclable battery, 24 hour charger, and converter circuit. Test switch and charge indicator provided. Test button installed on fixture from factory with the exception of the gyp version where to be installed remotely by others. Emergency mode provides constant power to a nominal 12W or 5W LED load for a period of 90 minutes, delivering 1200 or 550 lumens of unwavering illumination throughout the full 90 minute emergency duration. The 32 and 20 fixtures illuminate entirely, however the 48 fixture only illuminates half of the fixture. MOUNTING Aircraft cable set includes three 48 standard length 1/16th stainless steel adjustable aircraft cables with secure micro grippers to field set suspension length, comes factory installed in fixture. 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 round white canopies. Clear metallic flexible braided cable for power feed. IDS caddy clip and cord strain also included. Please refer to isntallation sheets for mounting weight requirements. Power cord options available for aircraft cable. Black power cord provided for satin black and a lightanium finish, white power cord provided for all other fixture finishes unless otherwise specified. Rigid pendant stem set includes 1/2 IPS hollow white threaded rod for suspension and power feed, standard specification length, 1 minimum provided with a round canopy same diameter as rod. Swivel stem set includes 1/2 IPS hollow white threaded rod for suspension and power feed, standard specification length, 1 minimum, provided with a round canopy same diameter as rod. Specify if other suspension length is required. Fixture can be mounted on angles within the recommended scope, please refer to installation insutruction guide for recommended angles and mounting points for optimum conditions. Ceiling surface mount version has a galvanized mounting plate that attaches to the junction box with #6-32 screws (provided by others) and is recommended to be further affixed to the ceiling with additional fasteners through the slots in the mounting plate (see installation instructions). The fixture twists onto this mounting plate through a series of decending receiving flanges, and is secured in place with a spring loaded locking mechanism. This mechanism also facilitiates dismounting the fixture. The Tbar version of the fixture has small return flange on the exterior edge of the cover plate and rests on the t-bar grid, with the coverplate base descending 0.25 from the ceiling surface. Flush Gypsum Flange. It is recommended to have a 0.25 gap around the fixture for easy serviceability. The fixture is then mudded over and/or painted to provide a flangeless fixture appearance in recessed ceiling applications. STRUCTURE Robust, high quality precision rolled recycled aluminum extruded housing. Laser cut and precision bent sheet metal components and brackets. Approximate fixture weight, 20 =12lbs, 32 =26lbs, 48 =55lbs. For the ATL2 add an additional 0.94 lbs for driver and hardware. FINISH Electrostatically applied powder coat finish. Standard finish options include a-lightanium, satin white, satin black, and textured white for t-bar version only.
