Special parts 99 R100 GS Dual sport seat There is also a dual seat available for better riding comfort. It offers the same features as the single seat and is very comfortable due to its dish shaped seat platform. The original lock is retained. The single seat comes on a steel tube frame and is mounted to the original bodywork with four clamps by means of an adapter. The space behind the seat is covered with a small aluminium luggage plate. We want a lightweight, stylish bike. Somewhere in the Ligurian Alps on an off-road gravel track, there is a frustrated motorcyclist waving at you. "The chain has broken! Can you give me a ride?" - "I've had an accident. Can you give me a ride to the campsite?" But where does your pillion sit? We have the solution. Now there is a comfortable seat available which mounts to your bike quickly! It is 7cm high and measures 26 x 26cm. It fits under the luggage rack and is only mounted when needed. Wide Velcro straps are used to secure the pad to the luggage rack. High-quality foam and a plastic base plate guarantee the best riding comfort. 102 Special parts BMW R 100 Replacement Kit: Fits all R 100,, R 100 RS, R 100 RT, R100 R and R100 CS models. This kit provides better torque and more power. The engine runs considerably smoother and after conversion the engine power of an R 100 GS increases to max 67 hp for example. (additional modifications are not necessary.) BMW R 80 Power Kit: For converting your R 80 G/S, GS, ST from 800 ccm to 1000 ccm. Apart from a considerable increase in performance to approx. 60 hp, torque increases by approx. 30% and the engine runs smoother at any speed. Fuel consumption is reduced. The cylinder heads do not need to be reworked as the pistons are specifically designed to match the heads. Stainless steel push rod protection tubes incl. seal. To be ordered separately. 106 Special parts Manifold guard, flexible, BMW This heat shield is made from laser-cut stainless steel. Thanks to the special construction, it can easily be adapted to any manifold shape. Not only does it provide heat protection, but it also protects the endangered points of the exhaust system against stone-chipping or in the event of a fall. Length: 32 cm; supplied with: 2 pce.,including 2 collars 048-0132 Oil pan intermediate ring, BMW The oil content of the motor is increased which results in a lower oil temperature. The oil level is also lowered which reduces oil loss during filling and overall oil consumption. It comes with a rugged sump plate for offroad use. This plate is extremely robust and withstands the most demanding conditions. Delivery range: Oil pan intermediate ring, bottom sheet, gaskets, sealing material, screws, fitting instructions. The oil pan intermediate ring has an M 12 x 1,5 thread for connecting the temperature sensor. 040-0953 Valve cover round, BMW With oil filler inlet left: As with the "square" version, the motor oil can also be topped up directly at the filler inlet on the valve cover. Special parts 107 sump guard Our sump guard protects the centre stand and the front silencer against damage from stones or other objects protruding from the ground when riding off-road. As the plate is bent up, it prevents sand and dirt from penetrating the space between the engine and the gearbox. Thus, the plate protects the crankshaft ring from dirt and increases its life considerably. Our sump guard mounts to the central stand with four clamps. The rubber elements on the clamp provide vibration isolation. The plate is CNC machined from 4 mm aluminium. 040-1250 Wheel spacer 5 mm for bigger tyres For longer trips you want to mount bigger tyres on the R 100 GS, such as MICHELIN DESERT but neither the swingarm or the spring strut give enough clearance for fitting bigger tyres. The best solution would be to adjust the spokes. But this is a complicated and expensive solution. Besides, you don't mount bigger tyres except for travelling. The wheel spacer for the back wheel is made from aluminium and comes supplied with longer screws. WARNING: not street legal, for OFF- ROAD USE only Tried and tested on many tours through Africa. 040-0258 Oil cooler bypass hose The oil cooler of the BMW is located in such a way that it damages easily during a fall. Even if relocated, it may be damaged. Either the hose bursts or is squeezed (often by the crashbars) during a fall. Or the oil cooler starts to leak. Most of the time, spares are difficult to obtain. What you need is the oil cooler bypass hose which replaces the original hose. Your motorbike will be fully functional again. 040-0257
108 Special parts Fog headlight The fog headlight can be fitted as a single light, or in a pair. The wide, low fog beam of the 55W halogen allows much safer driving when it is raining or snowing. The fog light housing matches our Xenon headlight. The headlights include a German TÜV type approval and need not be registered (for ParisDakar Model only). Everyone knows the problem: If you are wearing enduro boots there is not enough space between them and the brake lever or gear lever. The long-distance footpegs are fitted further back thus providing optimum space for enduro boots.
