E 53 4MATIC+ Engine 7 M256 3.0L Turbocharged Inline 6 Engine: Powerful performance with 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque with additional performance thanks to the 48V Integrated Starter Generator system (ISG) Naturally balanced inline-6 design for smooth running Combination of 12/48 V on-board electrical system in conjunction with ISG provides the following functions: EQ Boost (with max. 21 hp and 184 lb-ft) Brake energy recuperation Gliding mode with engine off Improved engine start/stop comfort Improved acceleration Highly efficient direct injection system with demand-controlled multiple injection and multi-spark ignition Electrical auxiliary compressor provides even more boost pressure and thus additional torque from just above idle speed, and bridges the gap until the exhaust turbocharger spools up Impressive acceleration with absolutely no turbo lag

AMG RIDE CONTROL+ Standard on E 53 & E 63 S 9 Overview: Multi-chamber air suspension combined with continuously adjustable damping system ADS+ to improve driving dynamics and ride comfort AMG-specific, particularly sporty spring/damper setup "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport+" settings for a more comfortable, sporty or very sporty suspension configuration, significantly noticeable differentiation in the handling Constant vehicle level irrespective of load thanks to pneumatic all-round selflevelling suspension Suspension level can be raised for poor surfaces and is automatically lowered at high speeds The vehicle can be lowered by 4 cm to make it easier to load the luggage compartment (activated via a switch in the trunk)
