Machine is fitted with Laser Safe guarding system Key Benefits Delivers comprehensive operator protection at close proximity to work piece. (With light curtains the operator has to be further away from work piece) Allows tools to close at high speed, increasing productivity. Complex shapes can be achieved with the "Tray / Box" and "Field Muted" modes of operation. Encoder feedback provides closed-loop monitoring of speed and stopping distance of the press beam. A flat band of continuous laser light detects obstructions as small as 4mm while remaining vibration tolerant. The mute point is automatically determined, easily set & continuously monitored. The rear section of laser is easily muted to ignore the back gauge in "up-close" situations. Failure detection is performed by real-time monitoring of the process under control. INVERTER MAIN MOTOR SYSTEM - ECO - With the ECO configuration, thanks to the new configuration of the hydraulic pump, we monitor the flow rate in the hydraulic circuit depending on the bending process. The motor is controlled by an inverter and only activates when the machine has to operate, always delivering only the power requested by the bending process. The right pressure on the circuit is granted also during the stand by phases without any flow and therefore eliminating any energy wastage. Benefits of using an inverter - 1. Uses less electricity due to the fact the inverter switches the main motor on only when you hit the foot pedal, otherwise the machine motor is off. 2. Very quite in operation because you only have the hydraulics on when the machine is in use, otherwise the motor is off. 3. Limited maintenance the pump and hydraulics are not always in use regardless if the machine is being used or not so it doesn t put a strain of the components requiring less maintenance and component wear and tear over the life of the machine 4. Uses approx. 50% less energy than traditional hydraulic machines 5. Longer oil life span, the temperature of the oil is reduced radically so the oil doesn t need to be changed as often as a traditional hydraulic machine. Also because of the temperature control the machine has better performance.

QUOTE # M17-3795 Page 5 FRONT QUICK RELEASE CLAMPING The upper quick release tooling on the CMT / Accurl press brake is unique in its class. With this clamping system you don t have to slide the tool out from the side of the machine rather just release the lever, press the red button in and the tooling can simply and easily be removed from the front of the machine. This is a great feature because it saves a lot of time by not having to slide all pieces out of the machine to remove the centre one or any tooling, instead it can be removed independently without touching the other tools and also this clamping design saves space because on the sides of the machine you don t have to have clear area to slide the tools out of. LED SAFETY COVER LIGHT The inbuilt safety LED lights in the covers are a simple yet clever idea that increases the operator and workers awareness of the press brakes operation. The LED lights stay solid if the press brake is idle but when the foot pedal is pressed this caused the lights to flicker. The thinking behind this is that with the light flickering when the machine is about to do a stroke, the operator and people around the machine are aware the machine is in operation and will take more care. Another reason for this novel idea is for management. The ease to see if a machine is working from all parts of the factory is a powerful tool. It gives management better control and visibility of when the machine is working and insight if the machine is working and when it is not.

QUOTE # M17-3795 Page 7 MACHINE FRAME HUGE OPENING HEIGHT With our CMT range of CNC press brakes a massive opening height and extended cylinder stroke is standard where as on other machines in this cetegory it s a an optional extra. The benefit of having a large opening and long cylinder stroke is that when large jobs are being processed with a large opening the removal of the job out of the front of the machine is possible and doesn t have to be slid out of the sides with machines with smaller openings. This saves both time and space needed around the machine and also makes the CMT range of CNC press brakes more productive - Open height ~ 550mm - Cylinder stroke ~300mm Best in class for machines in this category

QUOTE # M17-3795 Page 8 BACK GAUGE * With the 7 axis machine Z1/Z2 are also CNC controlled RAM POSITIONING SYSTEM LARGE THROAT OPENING A large throat opening of 450mm enables the user to do full legth pieces and have less interference when bending past the side plate uprights. The uprights on a machine is always a consideration when bending long lenghts but with a 450mm throat it helps to be able to bend larger profiles.
