2 Greetings from Bob Walker The first Walker Mower made the trip to Australia in 1984 and now over 10,000 have made the trip to either Australia or New Zealand. It has been a remarkable journey for the Walker Mower to find a home so far away from the factory. The Australasian market is important to Walker, because not only have we met many fans of the product over the years, but we have also learned a lot from them. We have learned about how different environments require different types of machine performance, and as an agile manufacturer, we have been able to adapt to this concept for Australasia. Our product design has benefited from our exposure in the Australasian market. We have continued to gain experience and knowledge about mowing and grass conditions as the machine has been used in your mowing conditions. As a result, our overall design for use around the world has been improved and customers in other places have benefited from our wide exposure. Many times people tend to think, and they tell us, they have the toughest mowing conditions in the world, but there is no doubt that mowing in Australia/New Zealand does put extra stress and strain on some parts of the machine with your preference for mowing at low cutting heights and with some tough strains of grass. Grass Handling System The exclusive Walker GHS permits precise trimming with either side of the mower, saving a lot of time. The system creates a powerful vacuum action and clog resistance and has high capacity without the typical bulk of grass catchers found on other mowers. 4 A passion of ours at Walker Mowers is a beautiful cut on finished turf. Striping is done naturally without the use of a roller, and the clean cut is achieved by design. The out front deck follows the ground contours perfectly to produce a picture perfect lawn. Powerfil Inside the GHS grass catcher, the patented Powerfil oscillating delivery spout evenly packs the catcher full, even when grass is long or wet. We guarantee a full load every time. To prevent overfilling and clogging, an automatic signal horn warns when the catcher is full and ready for dumping.

Not only can you get where you need to go on the lawn, you can get to what you need to on the tractor. Walker s tiltopen/tilt-up bodies and tilt-up deck make it easy to service the machine, change blades, and maintain the deck. ACCESSIBLE Tilt-Open Body Tilt-Up Deck Standard on all Walker decks is the tilt-up function. This feature makes blade and deck housing maintenance very fast and is a considerable advancement in mower design when compared to jacking up the mower and laying on the ground to access the deck, commonly required on other mowers. Grass Dumping Options After the grass is cut, the clippings and debris are quickly and easily dumped with the standard manual dump or one of two optional power systems operated from the seat. A dump bag is also available. AGILE The compact size of the Walker Mower, matched with a unique and responsive steering system, makes it easy to get in and out of tight spots. This agile design means less lost motion, less time spent trimming, and overall increased productivity. It s compact height also provides a low center of gravity resulting in stable operation, even on slopes. No other mower operates this easily. Forward/reverse, zero radius turns, and braking are accomplished by lightly pulling the steering levers while the Forward Speed Control adjusts and holds forward speed, functioning as a cruise control. The operator relaxes because it isn t necessary to hold the steering levers when cruising forward. Steering wheels, gear shifts, and foot pedals are all eliminated for nearly effortless handling of the machine.

VERSATILE Quick-Change Decks & Implements All mower decks are interchangeable on Walker tractors (GHS decks do not work on SD model tractors). It only takes a few moments to switch decks. Mower decks are removed by pulling two hitch pins and sliding the deck off the tractor. A sliding driveshaft coupling and GHS chute (on GHS models) are easily connected when installing the deck. For Walker implements, the same mounting platform is used. 7

DECKS GHS SD/MULCH For grass collection, the GHS style deck is offered in four sizes [36,42, 48, 52 ] and is specifically designed to cut and discharge grass toward the rear of the deck into the GHS blower. There are two SD/Mulching decks, 42 and 48. Owing to their Mach II blade system these decks can side discharge or mulch in any condition and give a beautiful finish. Changing from one mode to the other takes less than a minute and no tools are required. 20

DECKS Multi-deck With the addition of the new MULTI-DECK the Walker Mower is now more versatile than ever. This new cutting deck has the capability to collect, side-discharge or mulch the grass and, true to Walker reputation, it does each job beautifully.
