For over 58 years our forklift trucks have been setting the standards worldwide. With the STILL FM-X reach truck we have developed an extremely robust, manoeuvrable and efficient forklift truck. With no exhaust fumes and low noise emissions it is ideally suited for use in the warehouse for horizontal transport and for stocking/destocking. Convincing: The detail and the whole. The FM-X is convincing due to its outstanding economyextremely high quality and advanced technology. Every look at the detail reveals the benefits of the new reach truck - starting with the new more powerful drives through the braking system with energy recovery and the long servicing intervals (every 1000 operating hours) right up to the hydraulically damped driver s compartment. Thus the FM-X is the best choice, not only on operational economic grounds, but is also a real asset in day-to-day use. 3
Powerful performance, and intelligent as well. The new drives: powerful, clean and quick. Powerful, and at the same time sensitive, driving away under load, higher acceleration and an improved performance when shifting pallets characterise the new maintenance-free drives. Thanks to the maximum speed being increased to 14 km/h, even longer runs can be quickly and efficiently conquered. Particularly practical: the motors are not only optimally protected against dirt, dust and moisture by being completely enclosed but are also arranged for particularly easy servicing. All components are quickly and easily accessible once the covers are removed. Better braking: energy recovery. The intelligent energy recovery during the braking process is typical of electric forklift trucks from STILL. When braking, the kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy by a generator and fed back into the battery. The triple braking system is just as exemplary: immediately the accelerator pedal is released, the generator brake becomes active ( foot-off-the-gas brake ). If the driver operates the brake pedal the generator braking effect is boosted and if it is operated further is backed up by a hydraulic load wheel brake. Maximum safety for efficient working. The FM-X is an all-round truck: suitable for warehouse with racks up to 12 m high and effective for horizontal transport. 4

Made-to-measure: the optimal working area. The first workplace which invites you to work. No two drivers are the same. A fact taken into account with the superbly flexible driver s compartment. Controls can be individually adjusted to suit each individual driver s ergonomic requirements. The luxury tilting seat with individual weight and horizontal adjustments can provide a comfortable posture regardless of the driver s physique. And thanks to its unique tilt technology, it allows a view of the goods both upwards and sideways past the mast avoiding excessive neck movements. Well-thought-out details such as open steps for trouble-free entry and exit, a lot of leg clearance and practical storage compartments make the work not only efficient but also pleasant. The best ergonomics. When developing the FM - X we placed particular emphasis on the greatest ergonomics and driver comfort. The result is two patented solutions for the driver s compartment. Due to the optionally available damped driver s compartment, shocks such as those caused by thresholds or uneven floors are effectively reduced by up to 57%. This not only guards against back problems but also increases working motivation. The proportional adjustment of seat and footplate, offered as an option, is also patented: to allow an optimal view onto the fork tips regardless of physique; the seat can be raised in a diagonal movement simultaneously with the footplate and pedals. Time-consuming manual adjustment is replaced by quicker electrical activation. The full electric 360 steering allows precise shunting. The driver s compartment can be adjusted to suit every driver s physique by the optional seat and footplate adjustment. The optional dampened driver s compartment reduces shocks by up to 57%. 6
Everything always in view. Safe, precise work requires perfect vision in all situations. To the front the particularly narrow triplex clear view mast with its special profile guarantees a clear view in the driving and fork direction. Chains, cables and hydraulic pipes are housed in the cylinder contour. The optimised visibility of the overhead guard construction with its angled legs provides a clear field of view for a routine glance upwards e.g. at raised goods or the top rows of the racking Precise shunting and positioning. Maximum precision is one of the classic virtues of the FM - X. The full electric 360 steering makes light work of precise shunting with the truck, even in the tightest space, and with the ergonomic joystick (or optional fingertip control) all hydraulic functions can be actuated and carried out simultaneously without changing the grip. Along with hoisting and lowering, this also includes tilting and the standard hydraulic mast sideshift. This allows an optimal view through the mast as no hydraulic pipes have to be run upwards. Thanks to proportional valve technology, the sensitive response of the hydraulic movements enable the load to be positioned with efficiency and precision. The over head guard is optimised to allow an exemplary view of the raised load.
