Two sets (lue nd grey) hve een instlled on ech side of the unit. The lue socket is for input nd the grey for output. The units re connected to ech other in long string. Units 1. Off-nd-On switch 2. Volume kno 3. Sensor 4. ssemly joint 5. Removle foot stnds 4 3 To mke connection, insert the lue cle plug into the lue socket on the unit. Insert the plug nd turn it clockwise until it clicks nd locks in plce. Worth knowing Current hs now een connected to Unit #1. ll units operte on 230-volt source. Units cn remin turned on nd running 24 hours dy. 1 5
To mke connection to the next stnd, plug cle into one of the grey sockets mounted on either side of the ottom of the unit. ssemly of top nd ottom The electricl components re to e ssemled when the top nd ottom sections re joined together. There re two components; oth re grey. Insert the plug nd turn it clockwise until it clicks. Grey sockets function in the sme wy s the lue ones. Insert the plug nd turn it clockwise until it clicks nd locks in plce. When the components hve een ssemled, insert it in plce so the cover cn e put onto it lter. Importnt The ssemled components should e flush with the frme. The two sockets grey nd lue re eside ech other. Repet the procedure to connect s mny units s desired. Disssemly To remove plug, grip the spot mrked with red nd pull out the cle plug. N.. Current cn e connected t either side of the unit. It does not mtter which side is chosen.
How to turn ech unit On nd Off Volume kno Sensor When strting to use or closing down unit, the On-Off function on individul units must e used to prevent the risk of lowing fuse. More thn one unit must not e turned on simultneously, s they consume significnt current in the strt-up phse. Off-On switches re locted on the right side of the unit. There is only one On-Off switch on the one side of the stnd nd it controls the whole unit. Plcement cn e seen in the illustrtion to the right. Illustrtion ove shows the On-Off switch. The unit is turned on y depressing the side of the utton fcing the opertor. The unit is turned off y depressing the side of the utton furthest wy from the opertor. The Volume kno is plced t the upper left side of unit. The desired level is set when the opertor stnds efore the screen nd ctivtes the sensor. N.. The opertor is responsile for setting the volume to level pproprite for the exhiition room. When djusting the volume level, it is recommended to turn the Volume kno until fint sound is herd. From this point it is possile to djust the volume level to the specific room. The sensor covers n re of 80 x 120 degrees
Trnsformer for 110-volt source Front of trnsformer The trnsformer llows the opertor to use different levels of electric current. The exhiition ws mde to function on 230-volt current nd this must LWYS e used. For current other thn 230 volts, the trnsformer MUST e used. On the right of the trnsformer is fuse tht will cut the circuit if there should e ny surges in the current. The Power source light will not go on if the wrong type of current is used. ck of trnsformer The opertor my choose which voltge should e used, depending upon the source t the host venue. This is done y inserting the jumper into the socket stting the type of current voltge provided t the venue. Plug The input plug cn e divided into two pieces. The unit normlly comes with Europen stndrd (schuko) plug. This cn e removed s shown in the illustrtion nd it ecomes the type of plug used in the US nd other countries. N.. It is not necessry to use the trnsformer in countries using 240-volt current.
