Operating Instructions BlueCamreddot 1 eneral instructions Please read the operating instructions carefully, before activating the lock. The lock is supplied with the following factory codes: - Administrator factory code: 0-7-8-9-0 - Master factory code: 7-1-2-3-4-5-6 - User factory code: None of the 5 possible user codes is set. For your security, change the factory codes immediately. Change codes only if the safe is opened and lock is in closed position. In case of changing an administrator/master code, the lock has to be opened with the corresponding administrator/master code before. Do not use any personal data like birthdays or telephone numbers as new codes. If the lock is not opened or closed within 3 seconds after the ON-button is pressed, the electronics will shut down. Press the ON-button again and repeat the operation. If the time has been exceeded for entering a new code, the electronics will shut down. The old code remains valid. Every correct code entry at opening or closing is confirmed by a tone signal and a green LED will flash. These signals are not described in the following instructions. Do not use force. Do not open the lock case. Otherwise you endanger the function of the lock and you lose any warranty claims. Operating Instructions No. 9999-087-0 20.06.2011 3

BlueCamreddot Operating Instructions 9 Power supply and battery change The lock is operated with a 9 volt alkaline battery. We recommend using a battery with reduced heavy metal concentration. If the LED flashes red after pressing the ON-button, the battery voltage is low. Change the battery as soon as possible. If the LED flashes red five times and a triple tone signal sounds after pressing the ON-button, the code cannot be entered because of low voltage. After the first code number has been entered, the LED goes out. Change the battery immediately. To change the battery, the M4 screw and the M18 nut at the back of the lock has to be loosened. Lift the battery cover at the lock case and change the battery. eplace the battery cover again and fasten nut and screw. If the battery is so low that a code entry is not possible anymore, the lock can be supplied with power from outside. Place a 9 volt block battery at the power terminals of the input unit (see Fig. 1) and open the lock as described in point 3. Always dispose used batteries in an environmentally friendly way. Trade Collecting points or public waste management authorities take back waste batteries free of charge. Place battery for emergency power supply here Fig. 1: Emergency power supply 8 20.06.2011 Operating Instructions No. 9999-087-0
