BlueCamreddot Operating Instructions 9 Power supply and battery change The lock is operated with a 9 volt alkaline battery. We recommend using a battery with reduced heavy metal concentration. If the LED flashes red after pressing the ON-button, the battery voltage is low. Change the battery as soon as possible. If the LED flashes red five times and a triple tone signal sounds after pressing the ON-button, the code cannot be entered because of low voltage. After the first code number has been entered, the LED goes out. Change the battery immediately. To change the battery, the M4 screw and the M18 nut at the back of the lock has to be loosened. Lift the battery cover at the lock case and change the battery. eplace the battery cover again and fasten nut and screw. If the battery is so low that a code entry is not possible anymore, the lock can be supplied with power from outside. Place a 9 volt block battery at the power terminals of the input unit (see Fig. 1) and open the lock as described in point 3. Always dispose used batteries in an environmentally friendly way. Trade Collecting points or public waste management authorities take back waste batteries free of charge.
