CAUTION Turn off hot and cold water supplies before beginning. Make sure O-RING () is installed in spout base. If installing ESCUTCHEON () (optional): Apply a bead of putty to bottom edge of ESCUTCHEON PUTTY PLATE (). IMPORTANT: Do not use putty when installing faucet without escutcheon.. Insert supply HOSES (), SHANK () and SENSOR CABLE () (if equipped) through hole in ESCUTCHEON with PUTTY PLATE () and mounting surface. (Make sure PIN (6) is in back).. Assemble RUBBER WASHER (7), BRASS WASHER (8) and THREADED LOCKNUT (9) onto SHANK () from underside of sink or mounting surface. Hand tighten LOCKNUT (9).. Use a screwdriver to tighten SCREWS (0) on LOCKNUT (9). No further action required. PWRK VERSION;. Connect PWRX BATTERY PACK () to SENSOR CABLE ().. Secure the connections by installing into CONNECTOR LOCKING DEVICE () as shown. Rotate the END CAPS () to secure the connection within the CONNECTOR LOCKING DEVICE (). BRACKET INSTALLATION. Determine the mounting location of the PWRX BATTERY PACK () by marking center lines as shown.. Place the BRACKET () on the horizontal center line and mark the location of the mounting holes to be drilled.. Using /" diameter drill bit, drill two mounting holes aproximately " deep. 6. Install the two ANCHORS (6) provided into the mounting holes. Use a hammer to lightly tap the ANCHORS (7) into place and flush with the finished wall. HORIZONTAL C/L 7. Turn off hot and cold water supplies before beginning. Fig.. Place each SCREEN FILTER () on each wall supply outlet. Be sure that SCREEN FILTER () is inserted in the correct direction. No. M968808 HOT SUPPLY TEE FITTING COLD SUPPLY MAINTENANCE A HAND WASH SENSOR OPERATION; Fig. REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM FROM SENSOR EYE WHEN INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE. When the Sensor detects a user, the water immediately starts to flow. Water flow will stop. seconds after user is out of sensor range. This Comfort delay allows the user to comfortably move their hands without the water turning off. As a precaution, a Safety Timer will turn off the water, after the sensor has been blocked for 9 seconds. The water will stay off until the blockage is removed from the detection zone. B CHANGE SENSOR RANGE; (Factory set at 6") Fig.,,, & a Fig.. Remove the FAUCET SPOUT () by unthreading the LEVER SCREW () and pulling off the LEVER HANDLE (). Unthread the FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () at the back of the FAUCET. Pull FAUCET SPOUT () up and off. Fig.. REPLACE REMOVE. Disconnect the BLACK POWER SUPPLY CONNECTOR () and reconnect. Fig... While the SENSOR CONTROL LED () is blinking slowly, place your hand - in. (.-0.8mm) in front of the sensor. Fig... When the LED stops blinking and stays "ON", move your hand to the desired position and hold in place until the LED begins to blink again. Fig. a.. Once the SENSOR CONTROL LED () begins to blink again, remove your hand from the detection zone. When the flashing stops, the detection distance is set. Fig. 6. Replace FAUCET SPOUT () and LEVER HANDLE (). Install LEVER HANDLE SCREW (), FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () and tighten. Fig.. Note: The LEVER HANDLE () can be removed to prevent users from adjusting the water temperature. Replace the LEVER HANDLE () with PLUG BUTTON () as shown. Fig.. C REPLACE SENSOR; Fig. Fig., 6 & 7.. Remove the FAUCET SPOUT () by unthreading the LEVER SCREW () and pulling off the LEVER HANDLE (). Unthread the FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () at the back of the FAUCET. Pull FAUCET SPOUT () up and off. See Fig. in this section. DISCONNECT WIRE CONNECTIONS. Disconnect both ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS. Fig... Untighten SENSOR SCREW () with a.mm HEX WRENCH. Remove SENSOR ASSEMBLY () from FAUCET SPOUT (). Remove O-RING (). Remove SENSOR (a) from CARRIER () and replace with new SENSOR (a). Replace O-RING (). Install SENSOR ASSEMBLY () into FAUCET SPOUT (). Tighten SENSOR SCREW (). Fig. 6, 7.. Replace FAUCET SPOUT () and LEVER HANDLE (). Install LEVER HANDLE SCREW (), FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () and tighten. D CLEAN FILTER SCREEN ON SOLENOID VALVE; Fig. 8 & 9. Remove the FAUCET SPOUT () by unthreading the LEVER SCREW () and pulling off the LEVER HANDLE (). Unthread the FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () at the back of the FAUCET. Pull FAUCET SPOUT () up and off. See Fig. in this section. Fig. 8. Disconnect SENSOR CABLE () from SOLENOID CABLE (). Fig. 8.. Install LEVER HANDLE SCREW (), FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () and tighten. See Fig. in this section. E REPLACE DIVERTER CARTRIDGE; Fig. 0 &. Remove the FAUCET SPOUT () by unthreading the LEVER SCREW () and pulling off the LEVER HANDLE (). Unthread the FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () at the back of the FAUCET. Pull FAUCET SPOUT () up and off. See Fig. in this section. Fig. 0 9 8. Pull out LIMITER STOP () from the VALVE STEM (). Unthread COLLAR NUT () from VALVE BODY (). Fig. 0.. Pull DIVERTER CARTRIDGE () out and replace with new DIVERTER CARTRIDGE (). NOTE: Make sure the two ALIGMENT PINS (6) in the base of the DIVERTER CARTRIDGE () are facing upward. Fig.. Fig. 6. F CHANGE HOT LIMIT SETTING FROM 9% TO 8%; Fig.. Remove the FAUCET SPOUT () by unthreading the LEVER SCREW () and pulling off the LEVER HANDLE (). Unthread the FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () at the back of the FAUCET. Pull FAUCET SPOUT () up and off. See Fig. in this section. 9. Replace LEVER HANDLE and rotate counter-clockwise to its stop position (00% cold). Remove HANDLE.. Pull out LIMITER STOP () from the VALVE STEM (). 8 SLOT. Rotate LIMITER STOP () 80 degrees and insert back onto VALVE STEM (). ROTATE 80. Replace FAUCET SPOUT () and LEVER HANDLE (). Install LEVER HANDLE SCREW (), FAUCET SPOUT SCREW () and tighten. See Fig. in this section. Fig. SLOT G GENERAL CLEANING; Fig.. Only use a damp, soft cloth to clean the spout and the sensor.. For tougher dirt, use a soft cloth with diluted dish washing detergent. Wipe the area using a wet cloth and dry using a soft cloth. CAUTION Do not scratch the sensor when cleaning. Avoid using any abrasives or harsh detergents or chemicals. Fig. FAQ'S Q: How will I know if the battery needs to be replaced? A: Valve will not open and sensor will continuously blink times interrupted by a pause for up to 7 days. Q: Why has the flow rate of the faucet reduced significantly? A: The filter assembly, flow regulator or areator/spray may be clogged. Check and clean. Refer to Start-up/Maintenance, sections C, D and E. Q: Why doesn t the water flow out of faucet when I'm within the sensor detection zone? A: Battery may need replacement. Check. If sensor continuously blinks times interrupted by pause, replace battery or call (8) CRT-TEAM / (8) 78-86. Q: What is the normal operating pressure range? A: Faucet will operate with supply pressures ranging from 0-80 psi. 9 M966 Rev..0 (9/6)

YES REPLACE SOLENOID NO YES NO NO OPEN EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS. CRITICALLY LOW BATTERY. INSTALL NEW BATTERY. DEAD BATTERY. INSTALL NEW BATTERY. REPEAT. CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO SENSOR WIRE INSULATION. REPLACE SENSOR. WATER IS CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING RECONNECT BATTERY TO SENSOR. DOES SENSOR FLASH FOR SECONDS? NO CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO SENSOR WIRE INSULATION. REPLACE SENSOR.
