General Specifications GS 1C2H1-E Model EJ11W, EJ11N and EJ11Y Diaphragm Sealed Differential Pressure Transmitters [Style: S2] Diaphragm seals are used to prevent process medium from entering directly into the -sensing assembly of the differential transmitter, they are connected to the transmitter using capillaries filled with fill fluid. Model EJ11W, EJ11N and EJ11Y Diaphragm Sealed Differential Pressure Transmitters can be used to measure liquid, gas, or steam flow, as well as liquid level, density, and. They output a 4 to 2 ma DC signal corresponding to the measured differential. It is also possible that the diaphragm itself can be damaged and that material from the broken diaphragm and the fill fluid can contaminate the user's process fluids. Be very careful with highly corrosive process fluids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrogen sulfide, sodium hypochlorite, and high-temperature steam (15 ºC [32 ºF] or above).
