HISTORY The history of Point International was started by establishing a branch in Malaysia in 2005. History In 2005 Point Interplas(M) Sdn. Bhd. was opened as a overseas branch in Malaysia. In 2006 Point International Co., Ltd. was established as a company for harbor & power generation facilities in Ham-an, Korea. In 2007 ~ 2008 2 factories were completed in Korea and Malaysia. In 2009 Point International Co., Ltd was moved to Chang-won from Ham-an as a head office.. In 2010 PT P&I Indonesia was opened as a overseas branch in Indonesia.. In 2011 P&I Co., Ltd. was established as a trading company. In 2012 Busan office of P&I Co., Ltd. was opened for marine business and trading. After 2012 Point international is planning to be a general trading company specialized in various business fields.

BUSINESS - OVERALL Point International s business fields are divided into 4 sections Retrofitting project, maintenance & repair, Installation & commissioning and automation solution. Retrofitting Project We change crane s power supply system from oil-type to electric one that are more eco-friendly and costeffective by remodeling the power supply mode. Maintenance & Repair Point International maintains and repairs cranes at site for smooth work flow. Installation & Commissioning We are also able to install crane structure at site. In addition, we conduct test and commissioning for installed cranes. Automation Solution Automation solution for harbor cranes is one of our work scopes. Under the system, all work process can be controlled from start to finish.
BUSINESS RETROFITTING OPERATION SYSTEM Retrofitting operation system means changing old spare parts and power supply system for old cranes that are frequently broken down to prevent loss of business. DC Drive AC Drive AC Drive has many advantages compared to DC Drive system such as easy control, less maintenance cost and etc. Retrofitted Crane The cranes of which power system is changed into electric one can save up to 90% of maintenance cost. Also, it causes less noise.
