People at the time were frightened of evil spirits. They would dress up in costumes & make noise in the streets to make the spirits go away. When the Catholic Church came to the Celtic land, it brought with it the celebration of All Saints Day on November 1st. This day was also called All Hallows Day & the night before was called All Hallows Eve. Many of the traditions from the two holidays became merged together. Over time, All Hollows Eve was shortened to Halloween & traditions like trick-or-treating & carving Jack-o-lanterns became part of the holiday. Which actor played a dual role in the Classic 1935 movie 'The Bride of Frankenstein'? Boris Karloff Claude Rains Elsa Lancaster Bela Lugosi Answer: Elsa Lancaster starred in dual roles in this classic film. In the film's prologue, she portrays a young Mary Shelley (author of the novel that forms the basis of the movie). Lancaster appears again toward the climax of the film, in an iconic, electrifying entrance as the bride intended for Frankenstein's monster. To create the wild, streaky coiffure, assistants placed a cage on Lancaster's head and combed her hair over the cage. The iconic gray-streak hairpieces were then added.

Check the brake system annually & have the brake linings, rotors & drums inspected at each oil change. 5. Inspect the exhaust system for leaks, damage & broken supports/hangers. 6. Check engine performance to make sure it is delivering the best balance of power & fuel economy & producing the lowest level of emissions. 7.
