Although these signs are new to Lincolnwood and Skokie, they are not uncommon in residential neighborhoods, and should not create a distraction. The intent of the LED lights is to increase the visibility of the stop signs and improve overall traffic safety. A display unit will be available at the meeting and public comment is welcome. Please see the attached brochure for additional information.
