Motivation for the et! project Advantage of light commercial vehicles with purely electric drive for operation in city centres User research indicates that Frequent (up to 200) stops and starts occur during city-centre operation; IC engines which consume about 5 litres per 100 km in the NEDC require up to 25 litres fuel per 100 km in city-centre distribution service; Daily driving distance is less than 100 km; Regular parking places, e.g. in company yards, are ideal for charging infrastructure; and Long periods of overnight parking provide ample charging time.
Motivation for the et! project Project goals for the subsidised project Construction of a light commercial vehicle for city centres as demonstrator for driving experience Purely electric drive Small footprint Main focus on distribution and postal services Registration for use on public roads -
