MILANO A R R I V A L & W E L C O M E SUNDAY 01 SEPTEMBER Arrive into Milan. Following transfers to the hotel, spend the day settling in, enjoying your luxury 5-star hotel s amenities, or exploring the beautiful city of Milan. We recommend walking the streets of the Quadrilatero d Oro Milan s renowned rectangle of luxury fashion, or the Bohemian art district of Brera. For those who are interested, we will also be taking a group out to the iconic Monza Circuit. ESPERIENZA FERRARI MUSEUM VISIT AND OPTIONAL TRACK DAY OPTIONAL ADD-ON MONDAY 02 SEPTEMBER Following breakfast you will be transferred by chauffeured limousine from Milan to Maranello the home of Ferrari. Here you will enjoy a guided tour of the Ferrari Museum, home to some of the most legendary vehicles ever created. Gaze over beautiful hand-built thoroughbreds from the 1960 s, real Formula One racers, and even the odd unique prototype. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to drive a Ferrari 488 Challenge racecar and Lamborghini Huracan SuperTrofeo around a private race circuit. As part of this optional add-on, professional driving instructors will help you hone your driving skills in the cockpit of two of the fastest and most engaging racecars of the modern era. Featuring hairpins, switchbacks, and lazy bends and of course, one of the world s most well-known roads - Stelvio, the route is challenging, exhilarating and incredibly breathtaking. Day One warms up with the fast-paced Autostrada before we head into the renowned alpine roads that traverse the Dolomite and Prosecco regions. The following day we conquer Timmelsjoch, before looping back into Italy via some fantastic smaller passes that lead to Stelvio. On the final day of the drive you conquer Stelvio before travelling back across Switzerland and again into Italy on a selection of stunning roads that lead to Lake Como. TRAVEL INSURANCE All participants are to have a comprehensive travel insurance policy in place prior to departing for the Tour. In addition to medical and luggage cover, particular attention should be paid to rental vehicle excess options. FUEL, VEHICLE & INCIDENTAL FUND Fuel for tour vehicles is included within this fund, which is comprised of a AUD $1,000 contribution made by all tour guests. This fund also covers major tolls, minor damages, and other group expenses. The purpose of the fund is to keep our insurance excesses as low as possible, which is a maximum deductible of 10,000 (approx. AUD $15,500), as well as limit other costs borne by you. The fund does not exclude your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you drive is not damaged under your care - wheels, tyres, windscreens or other damage not specifically covered by insurance will not be covered by this fund. We will pay for fuel where possible, but any fuel or toll receipts paid for by you during the tour must be submitted to us for payment within 30 days of the conclusion of the tour for a refund.
