Unit s 1 & 2
Turbine Generator Inspections Summary Unit s 1 & 2 are of the same design; Single Flow Condensing Steam Turbine with Hydrogen Cooled Generators, both sets are installed on an outdoor pedestal arrangement. The Turbines Generators Enclosures and Appearance Lagging is all in very good condition with little corrosion if any near the structural foundation connections. Visual inspection of the Low Pressure Turbine (LP) revealed very little water erosion on the turbine blades and the case, coupling and exhaust hood were all found in good condition. The Throttle Control Valves are all in good condition with albeit a film of surface corrosion is present on carbon steel components. The generator stator winding end turns and field coils were visually inspected with an industrial Videoscope and no abnormal conditions were detected. Photos Unit No. 1 Unit No. 2
