The Hörmann Series 2000 up-and-over garage doors are undeniably attractive in appearance, with a variety of designs that is comprised of single and double up-and-over doors in steel, timber and GRP. Hörmann offer a wide range of standard garage door sizes in either canopy or retractable gear to fit to a timber frame. We recommend, however, that the Hörmann powder coated steel frame is used, as it makes a complete door set. An embossed wood grain gives it all the aesthetics of timber. The door remains beautiful for a long time thanks to the special surface protection of the UV-resistant plastic film coating on the outside of the steel sections. ThermoFrame With the garage being attached to the house we recommend to fit a well insulated garage door. The new ThermoFrame frame improves the already good insulation characteristics of the double-skinned Hörmann garage doors even more and adds to energy savings.
