Redbird Football Hospitality Zone Redbird Game-Day Hospitality offers the best tailgating experience available. Consider ISU Football for your next alumni event or department social. The Redbird Football Hospitality Zone combines your private event with the tailgating atmosphere. Tents, tables and chairs will be provided for you. Six Important Things to Know: 1. You will be able to purchase game tickets at a group rate with your tent. 2. You can choose to cook your own food or you can have your food catered. Refer to the preferred caterers list for catering options. All caterers must be approved no exceptions. 3. Alcohol is permitted. Tailgaters must comply with Illinois State Athletics Tailgating policies and University Alcohol Policies. By reserving a hospitality area, you agree to adhere to these policies. 4. You may set up your hospitality tent starting four (4) hours before kick-off. Redbird Hospitality Zone will open three (3) hours before kick-off. Ex. 1pm kickoff Set up starts at 9am, Open at 10 am, Close at 1pm 5. Redbird Football Hospitality Zone will not be available on September 8, 2018. 6. Hospitality Zone Guidelines Notes: Only tents ordered through ISU Athletics are allowed. Soliciting is not allowed in the hospitality zone. To learn about marketing opportunities, contact Redbird Sports Properties at (309) 438-4047. Do not drive on the fields. ISU staff will be there to assist you. You are responsible for any damage to the field or area as a result of misconduct or by not abiding to the University Tailgate Policy. There will be no refunds, except if severe weather prevents set up of the tents prior to the game. If tents are set up, event will run rain or shine. You may add walls to your tent for an additional fee. Any change in the order, such as chairs, tables, tickets, walls, tent size, and electricity must be communicated one week in advance Electricity may not be available in the event of rain. Any artificial noise should be kept at a volume for your tent only. Clean-up is required before departing. Any items left behind will be thrown away.

Tailgating Areas Tailgating lots for home football games will open at 7:00 a.m. if kickoff is scheduled before 6:00 p.m. Please note that if kickoff is 6:00 p.m. or after, tailgating lots will open at 12:00 p.m. Any cars left in those lots from midnight until 7:00 a.m. on game day will be re-located, and may be ticketed or towed. Tailgating will end 1 ½ hours after the end of the game. The track infield and surrounding fields are options for approved and scheduled athletic department tailgate activities. Alcohol possession and consumption are restricted to those 21 years of age and older. Signage will be visible in tailgate lots designating tailgate rules and procedures. Lots are designated as: Donor Lots (donors with Weisbecker Scholarship Fund passes; open at 7:00 a.m. for day games and 12:00pm for night games) F-62, U-83/F-83, G-73, G-83, G-64, F-64 Public (Pay- $10 a car/tailgate space) open at 7:00 a.m. for day games and 12:00pm for night games; lot closes when all tickets are sold) G-53, F-43, S-103, F-71, G-82, G-81, G/U-91 RV Area (Pay- $25 each; no overnight parking) G-82 (North end of lot) S-103 overflow (RV's not in the G-82 lot 3 hours before game time will be redirected here) Tailgating for Other Outdoor Athletic Events (i.e., Soccer, Baseball, Softball) Only Lot G-81 may be used for tailgating for Soccer, Baseball, and/or Softball home games. *Go to GoRedbirds.com, or www.parking.illinoisstate.edu, to access a tailgate map.

Rules & Regulations The Illinois State University Police Department will strictly enforce State of Illinois Statutes [laws] and the following rules and regulations, and applicable University policies/procedures for all tailgating events: 1. Under no circumstances shall persons under 21 years of age be served, sold, have possession of, or consume alcoholic beverages 2. Concealed Carry is prohibited during all tailgating events in accordance with University Policy 5.1.1 3. Violation of any laws may result in arrest 4. Glass bottles and kegs are prohibited. Party balls, bongs, funnels and any device used to increase consumption of alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the tailgate areas. The use of drinking games, such as beer pong and quarters, which encourage risky drinking practices, are prohibited. 5. All tailgating equipment/supplies/games must be kept behind any painted emergency access lanes (red lines). 6. No open containers of alcoholic beverages are allowed outside the designated tailgate areas. Violators are subject to fines by the Town of Normal. Illinois State University students may also be subject to discipline. 7. All tailgaters and spectators must conduct themselves in ways to insure the safety and enjoyment of others. Abusive and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. 8. All Illinois State University students are subject to the University s Code of Student Conduct. Failure to comply with this procedure, the Code of Student Conduct, or University official directives, may result in immediate removal from the premises, arrest, prosecution, and/or disciplinary action through The Office of Community Rights and Responsibilities. 9. Tents (football tailgating only) are permitted in the designated tent area only. All arrangements and reservations for tent space must be made through the Sales Office in the Illinois State Athletics Department. The request form is available on GoRedbirds.com, under the Fan Zone tab. 10. No amplification devices are allowed. The use of any amplification device is prohibited without appropriate approval required by University Policy 6.1.13 Amplification. 11. All forms of commercial solicitation, or the distribution of giveaway items, are prohibited without prior approval of Illinois State Athletics Marketing or as otherwise allowed by University Policy 6.1.14. 12. Beginning July 1, 2015 in compliance with the Illinois Smoke-Free Campus Act, Illinois State University will become smoke-and-tobacco free. Smoking and tobacco use will be prohibited on all campus property, including buildings, grounds and parking lots. Under this legislation, smoking and tobacco use are not prohibited in a privately owned vehicle while traveling through campus or parked in an unenclosed lot on campus.
