1.1.1 Daily Maintenance The following actions can be taken by users of the AR-200 and AR-260 on a daily bases: Put the hoist back at charging position and place handset onto charger. Check if charging indicator lights up. Check lifting tape to ensure this is in good condition. 1.1.2 Weekly maintenance The following actions can be taken by users of the AR-200 and AR-260 on a weekly bases: Check all points as above 1.1.1. It is advisable to clean hoist unit and spreader bar at a weekly bases. Best with a non-aggressive cleaning solution and a moist cloth. Check emergency lowering Check high-low function Check E-spreader bar functions (if applicable) Check all moving parts if these are able to move freely without any annoying noise. Check all labels and presence of manual, short user guide and log. 1.1.3 Semi-Annual maintenance The following actions can be taken by trained technicians of the AR-200 and AR-260 on a semi-annual bases: Check all point as above in 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 Check for all possible damages Check all wiring Check smooth movement in track Check all fasteners Check track on damages and fixings Lubricate gear with gear-grease When the hoist does not comply with one or more of the above points, the must be taken out of action until repaired by trained technician.
1.1.4 Annual inspection and maintenance The ceiling hoist must be inspected once a year in accordance with the NEN-EN-ISO 10535:2007 or NEN- 7506 standards. The chargers should also be inspected every year in accordance with the applicable requirements. These inspections should be carried out by Innova, the distributor or by another suitably authorised body. 1.1.5 Preventive maintenance In addition to the mandatory annual inspection we advise the following: Replace batteries every 24 months (to prevent malfunction between inspections) Replace lifting tape every 12 months The lifting tape must be checked ad every inspection If in doubt, always contact Innova or the distributor in your area Any parts that are replaced or removed can be returned to the distributor. You can also give these parts to the technician for destruction. Innova or the distributor will ensure that these parts are processed in an environmentally friendly manner. If you dispose of parts yourself, the batteries must be disposed of as chemical waste.
