To prevent damage, rest the front bumper on a blanket or cardboard during the installation. 4. Remove the two self-tapping screws and twelve clips from the front bumper. 12 CLIPS 2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS 730302BT 5. Release the eight tabs and pull the front bumper toward you. 6. Repeat the procedure on the other side. 5 TABS 3 TABS Pull. 730303AT 7. Remove the front bumper (unplug the vehicle connector and release the connector from the clip, if equipped). Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the front bumper. Place the front bumper on the blanket to prevent damage. <Vehicle with headlight washer> a. Disconnect the headlight washer tube. b. Place a suitable container under the hose end to receive the washer fluid drained out of the washer tube. Refill the washer tank up to the proper level after installing the aero bumper. HEADLIGHT WASHER TUBE <With Headlight Washer> Push. Push. CLIP VEHICLE CONNECTOR (if equipped) 730304AT 3 / 14
8. Remove the induction plate A from the front bumper (four clips and five bolts). 9. Release the washer tube from the front bumper. 4 CLIPS INDUCTION PLATE A WASHER TUBE (If equipped) 5 BOLTS (Discard) 730308BT <Vehicle with headlight washer> 10. Remove the headlight washer nozzle cover from the front bumper (two retaining tabs). 11. Remove the headlight washer nozzle from the front bumper (two screws). 12. <Vehicle with fog light> 14. Remove the left fog light from the front bumper (three self-tapping screws). 15. Remove the right fog light in the same manner. LEFT FOG LIGHT 3 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS 730307AT 16. Remove the left induction plate from the front bumper (one self-tapping screw and two hooks). 17. <Vehicle with front sensor> 18. Remove the front sensors from the front bumper as shown. CLIP SENSOR COVER RETAINING TAB SENSOR GARNISH HOLE IN 3 RETAINING TABS SENSOR 4 RETAINING TABS 730313BT 19. Remove the two caps from the indicated positions of the front bumper and remove the two bolts. 20. 21. Remove the two screws and four clips from the backside of the front bumper. 22. Unhook and remove the front grille from the front bumper. GRILLE Slide. 4 HOOKS 2 SCREWS 4 CLIPS 730315AT 23. Using a pushpin, mark the front aero bumper at the center of the marks in the positions shown. 24. Drill the front aero bumper at the marked points using 3 mm bit, and then 13 mm hole saw. 25. Using a file, remove the burrs from the edge of the holes. AERO MARK MARK 13 mm HOLE SAW DRILL (3 m BIT) PUSHPIN 771014BT <Vehicle with front sensor> 26. Using a pushpin, mark the front aero bumper at the center of the marks in the positions shown. 27. Drill the front aero bumper at the marked points using 3 mm bit, and then 6 mm bit. When the accessory front sensor is installed, refer to the installation instruction for the accessory front sensor you are to install. PUSHPIN AERO 8 MARKS DRILL (3 mm 6 mm BIT) 771015AT 7 / 14
28. Using a utility knife, cut out the areas around the drilled holes. 29. Using a file, remove the burrs from the edge of the holes. AERO UTILITY KNIFE Cut off. 771016AT <Vehicle with headlight washer> 30. Using a pushpin, mark the front aero bumper at the center of the marks in the positions shown. 31. Drill the front aero bumper at the marked points using 3 mm bit, and then 6 mm bit. AERO 6 MARKS 6 MARKS PUSHPIN DRILL (3 mm 6 mm BIT) 771017AT 32. Enlarge the holes in the indicated positions of the front aero bumper using 10 mm bit. 33. Using a utility knife, cut out the areas around the drilled holes. 34. Using a file, remove the burrs from the edge of the holes. AERO Cut off. DRILL (10 mm BIT) UTILITY KNIFE 771018AT 8 / 14
35. Drill the center induction plate at the two points in the positions shown using 3 mm bit, and then 6 mm bit. Using a 15 mm hole saw, enlarge the two holes from the opposite side of the center induction plate. 37. 38. Install the front grille on the front aero bumper using the two screws and four clips that you removed before. GRILLE Slide. 4 HOOKS 2 SCREWS AERO 4 CLIPS 740802AT 39. Install the two grommets that you removed before in the holes you made in step 24. 40. Install the license frame on the front aero bumper using the two bolts and two caps that you removed before. <Vehicle with front sensor> 41. Reinstall the front sensors on the front aero bumper. CLIP AERO SENSOR COVER HOLE IN Made in step 28. 43. Install the left induction plate on the front aero bumper using the two self-tapping screws that you removed before. 44. Install the right induction plate on the front aero bumper in the same manner. AERO LEFT INDUCTION PLATE 2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS 771002AT 45. Install the left fog light on the front aero bumper using the three self-tapping screws that you removed before. When the accessory fog light is installed, refer to the installation instruction for the accessory fog light you are to install. 46. Install the right fog light in the same manner. <Vehicle with headlight washer> 48. Install the headlight washer nozzle on the front aero bumper using the two screws that you removed before. 49. Install the headlight washer nozzle cover on the front aero bumper. 50. Repeat the above steps on the other side. AERO HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE COVER 2 RETAINING TABS 2 SCREWS 730312BT 51. Secure the washer tube to the front aero bumper. 52. Install the induction plate A on the front aero bumper using the five bolts and four clips (reuse). 4 CLIPS INDUCTION PLATE A WASHER TUBE (If equipped) 5 BOLTS AERO 771006CT 53. Install the left air spoiler on the front aero bumper using five bolts and five nuts. 54. Repeat the right air spoiler in the same manner. 5 NUTS LEFT AIR SPOILER AERO 5 BOLTS 771012BT 13 / 14
55. Install the front aero bumper. HEADLIGHT WASHER TUBE <With Headlight Washer> CLIP VEHICLE CONNECTOR (if equipped) AERO 771010AT 56. Secure the front aero bumper reusing two selftapping screws and twelve clips you removed before. AERO 12 CLIPS 2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS 730302BT 14 / 14
