Our goals include discussing issues and information relevent to Parkinson s disease, including family concerns, research trends, mutual support and resources. <Back <Page 1 December A Visit With Santa: Santa is coming to the Library Friday, December 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children will get to share their Christmas wishes with Santa and receive a gift from him. Fall After-School Crafts: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month @ 3:30 p.m. starting September 20 through December. Youth (ages 5-11). Preregistration is required. Registration started September 1. Look for the Spring Craft pre-registration after the new year. Dec. 5th: Snowman Ornament Dec. 19: Christmas Bookmark Maker Monday: Monday, December 17 (third Monday of each month), at 4:30. Designed for Tweens and teens (ages 10-18). Explore, discover, create and have fun using everyday materials. Supplies provided by the Library. Story Times: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10:30 a.m. Designed for preschoolers (ages 3-5). We read books, sing and dance, and follow up with an art activity. Toddler Time: December 1 (first Saturday of each month), 10:30 a.m. Designed for babies and toddlers (ages 0-2). We sing songs, play, and read. Tween Book and a Movie: cancelled due to falling on Christmas day. Join us on January 29 for the next Tween Book and Movie. 20th Annual Family Gingerbread House Contest: The Library s Family Gingerbread House contest encourages families to spend time together during the busy holiday season by creating a family gingerbread house. Winners in each of three categories receive prizes from local sponsors. Pick up a contest packet at the Library.
