Ensure the ignition switch is in the OFF position, and remove the ignition key. 2. Remove the front wheel house liner to fascia screws (1). 3. Remove the front bumper fascia bolts (1). 4. Remove the front bumper fascia top screws (2). 5. Remove the front bumper fascia lower bolts (3). 6. Carefully push a small nylon wedge between the fascia and the front fascia guide. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the fascia slot and depress the snaps one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the fascia from the front fascia guide. 7. Disconnect any electrical connectors. 8. Remove front bumper fascia (4) from vehicle. 2015 General Motors. All rights reserved.
Page 2 of 9 9. Starting at the vehicle center support, route the fog lamp harness (1) through the center hole. 10. Continue to route fog lamp harness (1) to the right side of the vehicle behind horn assembly. 11. Pass the right side fog lamp harness ground (1) and connector (2) between the radiator support and the air cleaner assembly.
Page 3 of 9 12. Pass the fog lamp connector (1) through the right side hole (3) of the front support. 13. Attach the harness clip (2) to the front support. 14. Pass the ground harness (1) under the air cleaner assembly (2). 15. Remove the first ground bolt (1) and attach harness ground (2) to ground bolt.
Page 4 of 9 16. Reinstall ground bolt and tighten. 17. Pass the other fog lamp connector (1) and in-line connector with harness (2) to the left side of the vehicle behind horn assembly. 18. Pass the fog lamp connector (1) through the left side hole (2) of the front support. 19. Attach the harness clip (3) to the front support.
Page 5 of 9 20. Locate the spare front body harness connector (1) and connect with fog lamp in-line connector (2). 21. Secure connectors with electrical tape. 22. Secure the fog lamp harness to the front lamp harness using the 15 cable straps (1).
Page 6 of 9 23. Install the lower fascia grilles (1) to the fascia ensuring that the tabs are secure to the fascia. Caution: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems. 24. Install the fog lamp assembly (2) to the grille and secure with the nuts (1). Tighten Tighten the fog lamp nuts to 3 Y (26 lb in).
Page 7 of 9 25. Connect the fog lamp harness connectors (1) to the fog lamps (2). 26. Install the bezels (1) to the lower fascia grilles, ensuring that the retaining tabs are secure. 27. Reinstall front bumper fascia assembly.
Page 8 of 9 28. Open instrument panel compartment (1) while depressing the sides, remove compartment from instrument panel. 29. Disconnect electrical connector (2) from headlamp switch (3). 30. Depress tabs and remove headlamp switch (3) from vehicle. 31. Install new headlamp/fog lamp switch assembly to instrument panel. 32. Connect electrical connector to new headlamp/fog lamp switch. 33. THIS NEXT STEP (33) IS FOR MY14 COLORADO AND S10 ONLY: 33.1. FOR MY14 COLORADO AND S10 ONLY: Locate the brown BCM connector X5 and remove the WHITE/BROWN wire from cavity 19 and insert the WHITE/BROWN wire into cavity 13 of the BCM connector X5.

FOR MY14 COLORADO AND S10 ONLY: Locate the UEC connector X2 and remove the WHITE/BROWN wire from cavity D8 and insert the WHITE/BROWN wire into cavity G11 of the UEC connector X2. 34. Reinstall instrument panel compartment. 35. Access the Service Programming System (SPS). On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select BCM Body Control Module Programming and follow the on-screen instructions. 36. Access the Service Programming System (SPS). On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select IPC Instrument Cluster Configuration and Setup and follow the on-screen instructions. 37. Test the function of the fog lamps by turning switch on.
