1 DMV - 10 Days? You only have 10 Days To Request a DMV Hearing ACT NOW or LOSE YOUR LICENSE* See Page 7 to find the correct DMV office. You can NOT simply go to a local DMV to set up a hearing. Why Should I Have A DMV Hearing? If you don t ask for a hearing on time, you can t have one, and the DMV will suspend your license. On the other hand, if you ask for a hearing, then the DMV has the burden to prove that the suspension is required. It must prove**: 1. Were you placed under lawful arrest? 2. Were you driving a motor vehicle when you had 0.08% BAC? 3. Did the police officer have reasonable cause to believe you were driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs? Each of these elements raise other issues, you should have Chad Maddox review your case to field the best defense. * If alcohol related arrest ** The issues are different for a refusal (877) 844-1069

Jail Alternatives 4 First Time Offenders: Most first offenders only spend one night in jail, the night they were arrested. However, there are times when a first offender could be sentenced to additional jail. For example, if you were speeding, had children in the car, caused injuries, or were in an accident. Two or More Offenses: A jail sentence is mandatory if you have two or more offenses within 10 years. However, an experienced attorney will know how to maximize your chance to avoid jail by considering several alternatives to jail such as: Home Confinement Cal - Trans Community Service Rehabilitation SCRAM (Alcohol Monitoring) DUI Court Diversion For Military Vets Private Jail Trustee Programs Call (877) 844-1069 Today

7 Breath Tests Problems with breath testing seems to be never-ending. Here s a list of some of the issues: The device is not alcohol specific. That means other things like, soy sauce, can cause a high reading. The device measures alcohol from your mouth. The machine can register alcohol that doesn t come from a lung, causing a false reading. The officer didn t wait long enough to give you the test. If you burp, or had anything in your mouth 15 minutes prior to the test, it could have caused a high reading. The device has not been calibrated properly, or often enough to ensure a consistently accurate measurement of blood alcohol content. You may have a medical condition causing a high reading such as GERD or a simple fever. Talk to an Attorney Certified in Breath Testing (877) 844-1069

Blood Tests 8 Blood Tests are not much better. Some of the things your attorney should investigate are: Sufficient amount of sodium fluoride Sufficient amount of potassium oxalate Expiration date of the vial Proper mixing Refrigeration of the sample Analyzed by a certified technician Non-alcohol swab Drawn in a medically approved manner We Have Defended Drivers in Over 1000 Blood Cases (877) 844-1069

Testimonials / Reviews 10 Chad Maddox did a stellar job defending my two DUI s. My sister, who is an attorney, read his flyer for DUI defense, which was one of hundreds sent to my house. I didn t need to appear in court once. He handled everything! I am so glad that I found Chad Maddox here on yelp his positive reviews have proven to be correct. From our first encounter with Chad he was very personable and willing to hear my story and was understanding of my situation. Leslie A Christian P Chad Maddox is the best of the best when it comes to DUI attorneys. I had flipped my car over and totaled it. A little over a year later and Chad was able to get my case dismissed! I didn t have to pay ANY fines or take any DUI classes! Throughout my case Chad worked tirelessly and diligently. His staff always kept me in the loop with timely phone calls, emails, and letters. As we were gearing for trial I received a phone call Friday saying that we won the case and it was dismissed! If you ever get pulled over for a DUI Chad Maddox is the attorney for you. Brooke M Josh F Attorney Maddox is one of the best DUI and DMV attorneys in California. I would recommend his excellent service and professionalism to anyone. He is unique among lawyers in that he genuinely cares about his clients! Mark R Ben W Chad took the time to listen to me, and after hearing my story he addressed what could be done to keep me out of jail rather than empty promises of getting me off completely. Chad was the best possible outcome for a rough situation. As a 3rd time DUI offender Chad Maddox gave me my life back. Chad really goes above and beyond to provide his clients with a reliable and informative process. I was never kept in the dark about any proceedings pertaining to my case!
