Lange Lift Product Manual STANDARD FEATURES The below information applies to Lange Lift Standard Products only. [4A] FOOT PEDAL: Pump the blue colored pedal with your foot to raise the lift table. [4B] FOOT PEDAL: Press the red colored pedal with your foot to lower the lift table. [5] FLOOR LOCK: Press down with your foot to secure your Lange Lift Table in place. [6] LEGS: Formed and welded for strength and stability. [7] SWIVEL CASTERS: () 5 heavy duty cast iron casters with 360 degree rotation. [8] RIGID CASTERS: () 5 heavy duty cast iron casters. Lange Lift Product Manual RAISING & LOWERING YOUR LIFT GENERAL OPERATION GUIDE To raise the deck, push down the blue Foot Pedal [4A] with your foot. Each complete stroke of the foot pedal will raise the lift table incrementally until the lift has reached it s maximum raised height or your desired height. If you pump the lift after the maximum raised height is reached it will not damage your lift. To lower the deck, push down the red Foot Pedal [4B] with your foot. Keeping the foot pedal depressed with your foot will allow the lift to lower until the lift has reached it s minimum lowered height. Release the foot pedal at any time to stop the deck from being lowered. Please note that a lift under load will lower faster than a lift that is not under load. DECK ROTATION & ROTATION LOCK To rotate the deck, loosen the Lock Handle [3] by turning the handle counterclockwise with your hand. The deck can now be rotated 360 clockwise or counterclockwise by hand. To lock the deck, tighten the Lock Handle [3] by turning the handle clockwise with your hand. CAUTION: Do not overtighten. SETTING & RELEASING FLOOR LOCK Before setting the Floor Lock [5], be sure that your lift table is on a flat, level surface to ensure that the floor lock can make full contact with the floor. Failure to do so could potentially allow for unwanted movement of your lift. To set the floor lock, push down the large floor lock pedal with your foot until it latches into a locked position. You will know the floor lock is in the locked position when the floor lock pedal remains down. To release the floor lock, press up on the small floor lock pedal with your foot until the large floor lock pedal snaps up and remains upright. 3 GENERAL MAINTENANCE GUIDE Periodic maintenance should be performed every three to six months depending on usage to ensure proper function of your lift for life. If you re operating your table in a particularly dirty environment, such as a foundry, a more regularly occurring maintenance schedule may be required. CASTER LUBRICATION: Lange Lift recommends using multi-purpose grease for lubricating all casters. To lubricate the wheel bearings on the Swivel Casters [7] and Rigid Casters [8] apply grease through the zerk fitting located on the center axle of each wheel or the fitting located on the wheel hub using a grease gun. Greasing either fitting on each wheel will grease the whole wheel. To lubricate the swivel bearings on the swivel casters apply grease to the fitting located at the top of the caster assembly using a grease gun. FLOOR LOCK & FOOT PEDAL LUBRICATION: Lange Lift recommends using standard 30 weight oil for the lubrication of our floor locks and foot pedals. To lubricate the Floor Lock [5] and Foot Pedals [4A], [4B], locate all friction points on each part and apply a moderate amount of oil to each point. Wipe away any excess oil. GUIDE TUBE CLEANING: To clean the Guide Tube [], raise the table to it s maximum height to expose the guide tube. Using a clean cloth, apply a standard degreaser to the exposed surface of the guide tube. Wiping the surface of the guide tube will keep bearings and hydraulic components free from unwanted debris and ensure longer lift. Reference Page Diagram for Part Descriptions www.langelift.com Page

FOOT PUMP MAINTENANCE GUIDE Completely lower the table Lean the table on a 5 platform as shown below. A 5 gallon bucket works well. Remove the two Mounting Bolts [6]. The pump is now removable to be serviced or replaced as required. If you purchased a Complete Foot Pump Rebuild Kit, an instructional guide will be included with each kit supplementing this product manual. FOOT PUMP ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION: Clean the Foot Pump s mounting surface on the lift table. Position the O-Ring Seals [] in the spot faced holes on the mounting surface to ensure proper seal. Position the new Foot Pump Assembly and install the Mounting Bolts [6] and Seal [8] and tighten the bolts. Do not over tighten. Move the table back to the normal operating position. Operate the lift to check properly reassembly. It may be necessary to prime the new or rebuilt Foot Pump Assembly. To do this, depress the red foot pedal with your foot until the lift is at it s maximum lowered height and release. Using an overhead crane or forklift, raise the table top 3-4. This will cause the hydraulic oil to be drawn into the foot pump. Using the blue foot pedal pump the lift up to it s maximum raised height and give it ten additional strokes to bleed any air out of the system. Your lift should now be ready to use again.
