Warning for A/C compressor lock If compressor lock occurs during A/C operation, the A/C switch indicator on the A/C control assembly starts blinking. When this occurs, check for compressor lock (DTC 22) using diagnosis trouble code check, and then proceed to inspect the circuit or the component. Compressor lock sensor circuit. (See page DI1784) 2. LIST OF OPERATI METHODS By operating each of the A/C control switches as shown in the diagram below, it is possible to enter the diagnosis check mode. Turn ignition switch with and switches held down. Indicator Check If both switch and switch are not pressed at the same time. DTC Check (Sensor Check) (continuous operation) Actuator Check (continuous operation) DTC Check (Sensor Check) (stepped operation) Actuator Check (stepped operation) Cancel check mode and can start A/C control : Indicates a switch operation. 1939

After the indicator check ends, the diagnostic trouble code check begins automatically. Press the SW when desiring to cancel the check mode. AC2163 DTC Display SW 4. DTC CHECK (SENSOR CHECK) (a) Perform an indicator check. After the indicator check is completed, the system enters the DTC check mode automatically. (b) Read the DTC displayed on the panel. Refer to the list of DTCs on page DI1752 when reading the DTCs. If the slower display is desired, press the SW and change it to step operation. Every time the SW is pressed, the display changes by 1 step. DTC Display SW I24464 1940
