Dura Insulated Side Hinged Garage Door The Door Panel The 40mm thick insulated door panel infil (shown below) has a sandwich construction of twin corrosion protected steel skins filled with an insulating core. Its construction makes DuraTherm light in use yet it feels reassuringly rigid, strong and solid when closed. The steel galvanised finish door stay provides suitable friction when the door opens, limits the doors angle of opening and has a spring recoil feature in the channel to cushion the door and act as a shock absorber as it reaches the full extent of travel. NOTE: A stay is fitted to each door leaf 800mm and above. A stay is not fitted to a door leaf less than 800mm or to single doors. Doors held open by a stay should not be left unattended as strong winds may damage the mechanism and the door leaf. Neat inside too The inside of the door is very presentable. There are no unsightly bracings just a wipe clean surface finished in a practical grey white stucco texture (RAL 9002). 6
