Brick Yard Station is the residential component of the overall Brick Yard development, adjacent to the Muirkirk MARC Rail Station at the border between Beltsville and Laurel, MD. In conjunction with its Business Park counterpart which entails approximately 700,000 square feet of commercial space, the Brick Yard Station residential component is a perfect illustration of a 21st century transit oriented development. Brick Yard Station is located on the southern end of a 125-acre master planned development. Brick Yard Station is accessed via Muirkirk Road. The development is divided into distinct enclaves, with a diversity of housing types along with neighborhood retail, amenities and office space punctuated by a central park and sweeping, open village green spaces. Walking distance proximity to MARC public transport (with connections to DC and Baltimore, and Amtrak at Union Station) immediately qualify it as a transit-oriented community. Its location at the convergence of several bus lines and highway routes make automobile travel quick and easy. Overview
