BASIC START UP 1) Make sure kill switch is in proper position 2) Make sure brake handle is squeezed in 3) Make sure tether cord is attached 4) Make sure you have at least one litter of fuel in gas tank 5) Make sure battery is properly attached and fully charged 6) Make sure you unit is in nuetral (IF APPLIES) 7) Make sure the key is in proper position. 8) Choke if necessary. COMMON QUESTIONS 1) How often do I change the oil? * We recommend to check the oil level when you receive the unit. It is advised to change the oil right away or after the first 3 hours of riding and then every 25 hours after that using 10W30 synthetic. In very cold conditions below 5 degrees F. It is recommended that you change your oil when the engine is warm so the oil will drain easily. Park the vehicle on level ground, remove the oil filler cap. Drain the engine oil into a bucket and avoid spills. Keep oil away from animals and children, and avoid skin contact. Add oil until it reaches just below the upper mark on the dipstick. Reinstall the drain plug. Refit the oil filler cap. 2) How do I charge the battery? * After adding battery acid (if needed) to your unit, we recommend you charge your battery on a trickle charger (2 amp) until the battery is fully charged. Usually 3-6 hours. We have found that if you are going to leave your unit sit for over 24 hours it is recommended to unhook the battery to avoid any drain. Do not use anything over a 2 amp battery on your unit to avoid overload on your battery. 3) How do I assemble the wheels? * The wheel spacer goes on first, then the wheel, then the flange washer, then the castle nut (finger tight). Tighten the nut down further until you can insert the cotter pin through the hold in the castle nut and the hole in the axel. Lastly insert the cotter pin through the cotter pin and axel. 4) What kind of gas should I use? * We recommend to use 93 octane gasoline, due to the smaller caruretor to avoid clogging. Do not use fuel the contains more than 5% methanol. This can and will damage your fuel system. Remember spilled gasoline containing alcohol can harm your unit by damaging paint surfaces. Wipe spilled gasoline clean immediately. Do not overfill your gas tank 5) Do I need to allow a break in period for my unit? * Yes absolutley, you can make sure your unit is properly maintained and will remain in good condition by allowing a proper break in period. We suggest riding the unit carefully for the first two weeks and avoiding any full throttle action and keeping the engine load low. During the first 10 hours of operation you should always use less than ½ throttle. 6) Can I install spark plugs incorrectly? * Yes, improper installation of your spark plug can damage your unit. An overly tight or cross threaded plug will damage the aluminum threads of the cylider head. Carefully turn the plug by hand into threads. Remember dirt can damage your spark plug if it enters the hole, cover the

spark plug hole while the plug is out of the hole. 7) Should I clean my air filter after each ride? *You sure can, the better care you take care of the air filter the more efficient you unit will be. It has to be kept clean to provide good engine power and gas milage. Never ride without the air filter in place on your unit. 8) How often should I check my chain drive? * Inspect your drive chain prior to every ride. When inspecting check for loose pins, damaged rollers, dry or rusty links, kinked or binding links, excessive wear. Also check your sprockets for excessively worn teeth, broken or damaged teeth, or loose sprocket mounting nuts. If you find anything wrong, please contact your ATV dealer. The drive chain should be adjusted so there is 20-30 mm of slack. If you need to adjust, loosen the bolts. Adjust the slack in the drive chain by turning the chain adjuster nuts equally to tighten or slacken the chain. When you achieve desired slack, tighten the four bolts. Tighten the adjusting nuts. Finally check the brake lever travel. If necessary you may need to adjust the brake. WARNINGS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Warnings are provided to help you understand that operating an ATV can be very dangerous and serious injury or death can result by improper riding. 1) Allowing a child under the age of 16 to ride without close supervision is very dangerous. We suggest a child under the age of 16 needs constant supervision from a parent or responsible adult. It is highly recommended by our company to enroll your child in a training course prior to riding. Be sure children are instructed and monitored at all times. 2) Please go to www.atvsafety.org for important ATV instructions. 3) Make sure you follow all of your state guidelines and laws regarding riding your unit. 4) Wear an approved DOT helmet, eye protection, and proper clothing at all times while operating your unit. 5) Make sure to always check your nuts and bolts prior to each ride to ensure none have loosened during your ride. 6) Make sure your parking brake is locked on prior to starting your unit. Unexpected movement can cause you to lose control of your unit. 7) NEVER run your unit indoors. 8) NEVER carry a passenger. 9) Avoid riding your unit on paved roadways, sidewalks, or other services, this may cause handling to become uncontrollable. 10) NEVER ride your unit on public streets. 11) Always ride in control, do not ride at excessive speeds, or over the conditions of weather or

terrain. 12) NEVER ATTEMPT stunt driving. 13) NEVER start out with a full throttle, this could allow you to loose control of your unit. 14) Always know the terrain you are driving, and if you are traveling on unsure terrain drive at very low speeds and cautiously. 15) Always read your owners manual completely before riding your unit. STORAGE OF UNITS: Storage of units can be as critical as proper maintenence. If you unit is going to be stored over a period of 3 months, especially in cold seasons make sure to prepare your unit for storage. 1) Clean your unit completely removing any dirt, oil, gas, dust that may be on your unit. 2) Drain the fuel from your unit 3) Lubricate your units necessary components 4) Remove the battery 5) Seal your muffler 6) Store in a dry place free from the weather elements.
