Installation instructions Please read the installation instructions supplied with the product in full before commencing installation of this product. WARNING: This product must be installed by a licensed electrician strictly in accordance with current revision of AS/NZS 3000 Electrical Installations (Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules). If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced. Insulation Rating IC-4: The LEDVANCE SUPERSTAR LED Downlight G2 has been tested in accordance with AS/NZS 60598.2.2:2016, for an insulation classification of IC-4. IC-4 recessed luminaires can be abutted and covered by normally flammable materials including fixed building insulation (refer to figure 1 below). The temperature of the fitting does not exceed 90 C when building insulation abuts or covers the luminaire. Warning: This luminaire is not suitable for use with loose-fill insulation. 1. Disconnect mains power before assembly. 2. Cut a 92mm hole in the ceiling. 3. Insert the plug into a surface socket or hard wire the downlight depending on the installation requirements. 4. Dimmer compatibility LEDVANCE has conducted compatibility testing on the following commercially available dimmers, as per table below. The downlights are design to operate on both leading and trailing edge phase dimmers, but for best performance, trailing edge or LED optimised dimmers are generally recommended.
